I like his chances against Tim and SF. Probably will only pitch 5 or 6 innings. But his first outing at Arz he KOed 11 in 5.1 innings.

allin, I am still here. I was gone for an overnight trip Sunday into Monday. My wife and I took our son to a ammusment park for his 4th Birthday, I didn't get back until early evening Monday no fantasy games for me yesterday. I did get some homework done last night so I will be posting some info on some pitchers.

Alright guys. I have been looking over today trying to find the right pitcher for tonight. I have narrowed it down to two pitchers I like tonight.

Tom Milone from Oakland looks like he could be the right guy tonight. Milone is 5-1 this season at home with a 0.91 ERA and a 0.79 WHIP. Opponents are batting just .153 against Milone in Oakland. This guy is a total different pitcher when at home then when he is on the road. Look at some of the comparisons. He has allowed 17 HR on the road compared to just 1 at home. 17 Walks on the road compared to 9 at home. 88 Hits allowed on the road compared to 39 at home. 44 ER on the road compared to 6 at home. In 12 road games he has pitched 68.2 innings, in 8 home starts he has pitched 59.2 innings. The one thing that does scare me is that TB has faced Milone in Tampa earlier this season and roughed him up for 5 ER. But then again he is at home tonight and he has held the Yankees twice, Detroit, Angels and white Sox to a combined just 4 runs against him this season in Oakland. Those are some heavy hitting teams who struggled against him.

Jason Vargas from Seattle is the other guy I like tonight. Vargas has been on fire as of late. with his 1.65 ERA over the last 6 games. Vargas has pitched well at home this season also where he is 3-3 with 2.63 ERA with a WHIP of 0.97. Opponents are hitting .210 against Vargas in Seattle this season. Vargas will be out for some redemption against Toronto from a loss earlier in the season where he went 6 innings allowing just 2 ER on 4 hits but the offense only generated one run for him while the bullpen allowed 5 runs in 2 innings.

There are some other good pitchers going tonight in Justin Verlander, Jered Weaver, Stephen Strausburg, Cliff Lee, and even Kyle Loshe and Homer Bailey who have been hot are on the mound tonight.

It is a tough call on who to take tonight I just threw out the two I like the most due to price, their success as of late and at home this season.

Think Victorino will do good things in LA, finally gives LA a legit leadoff guy..should give Kemp, Ethier and H Ramirez more opportunities..

Think Dempster will wish he stayed in the National league, would have loved the mound in LA..

Jason Heyward could be the hitter that you want on your team tonight. This guy is hitting .346 his last 6 games with a slugging percentage of .731 in which he has 3 homeruns with 5 RBI's. Heyward gets to face Wade LeBlanc whom he is hitting .800 (4 for 5) against.

Guys Mike Minor could be the gem you are looking for on the mound today. Minor is 2-1 his last 4 starts with a 1.98 ERA. Minor is averaging 6 strikeouts per game during that span with an average of almost 7 innings pitched per game the last 4 games. Minor has not pitched all that bad at home either this season where he is 4-2 with a 4.18 ERA and a WHIP of 1.09. Opponents are batting just .211 against him in Atlanta this season.

had minor already, got f'd with that rain delay, didn't even qualify for a win and likely would've gotten it. total bs

I am liking Zack Greinke from the Angels tonight. Greink pitched decent his first outing with the Angels going 7 strong with 8 strikeouts just 1 one walk and 2 earned runs. He did not get any run support which is why he got the loss. Greinke pitced against this same White Sox team back on June 22nd and went the distance in a 3 hit shutout in Chicago. The Angels lineup is heating up averaging 10 runs per game the last 4 games. Greinke will get run support tonight and he has to be gaining some confidence since joining the Angels a playoff caliber team who should see the post season.

are the players/users that play at these daily fantasy sites get better as the higher the money games go , i notice the skill levels from $1 compared to $10 , the 10 boner players are slightly better, i havent been playing long enough to draw any real conculsion tho.

I believe the bigger the bigger the stakes, the better the competition.

Super, the only way to really tell is by playing in a few contests. One would think that you are going to play the $10 game over the $1 games if you consistently score alot of points which in turn you would win more money. There are some people out there who believe you need to spend big to win big.
