As many pieces as the Padres seemingly have now, hard to imagine they aren't a solid team in the near future.

Even though it is a tough park the Padres could use another player that has a lot of power, they could become a contender in the next couple years if things keep going in the direction they are going.

Parker got roughed up, but thats going to happen. I agree with JP21. Maybe wait out one more start per player. So that you don't jump the gun and drop someone thats going to heat-up.

That is what I decided to do, at least for now.
I got hasty and dropped Dempster 3 weeks ago when he missed a start with the red cross kinda wishing I hadn't now.

I used to do that but I learned my lesson. Traded off Lincecum and dropped Youklis (early). These guys are having a crap year I give them a little chance then dump them. I got stuck with Brandon Marshall and Hillis in a football league and said no more. Now I dump them on the quick side if there is anyone equivalent to (or better than) their current level.

I took Milone and dropped Masterson.
Masterson starts at Toronto this week I don't think anyone will take him, so I have a chance to reverse myself if I start to think I made a mistake.
