My thoughts were, Zobrist has been crappy Vargas has been solid. Vargas has 2 starts this week and Weaver is on DL.

wins are hard to come by this year, you Vargas because he can win
if you need the win, get Vargas

Gio is very good...Timmy's track record is hard to look past though. Hopefully you came out on the right end of the deal. Tough one to call IMO.

No question it is cause for concern. Perhaps it is indeed the reason Gio may be right side of the deal.

Quentin 2 homers at Petco last night, one of which was an absolute moonshot no doubter...If he stays healthy, big if, he will hit in any ballpark including Petco..

Would have probably kept Zobrist. He has been better of late and his upside is pretty good compared to most second baseman. Vargas not bad for two start week but he also has lesser long term appeal.
