Last 21 days Plouffe is tied for 2nd in all of baseball in HR's with 8 only Cano has 9 over the same period.

I think Lynn needs a couple weeks off, not sure if he will get it soon enough. Maybe the all-star break will be enough, but I think he needs more rest.

I'm surprised how well Wood has been pitching. He is worth a look. I just hate taking a chance on a Cubs pitcher.

If he does well against the Mets and Santana Friday. I might pick him up myself.

He is supposed to be good but he only had 6 HR's in 56 AAA games this year so I don't think his HR numbers are going to be as high as his start might indicate. He hits for a good average and has some power, he is one to keep an eye on.
