        Royals not worried about the voting

        If the All-Star voting concluded today, 7 AL starters would be from the Royals. Manager Ned Yost told USA Today Sports: "There's nothing wrong. Vote! The votes are the votes. If you don't like it, go out there and vote. Our fans have gotten out and voted."

        This is crazy. Are the Royals stuffing the ballet box or using a voting robot on-line

        ======================

        Just came across this....

        In 1957, Cincinnati elected seven Reds to the All-Star Game, thanks to pre-marked ballots that were distributed in the Sunday editions of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

        Commissioner Ford Frick stepped in and declared that a couple of guys named Willie Mays and Hank Aaron would replace the Reds' Gus Bell and Wally Post. He was so incensed that he stripped fans of the vote until 1970.

                Blue Jays streak ends at 11, the shaky bullpen blew the game. The lack of pitching is a real concern.

                  Molina, Lackey have tense exchange in dugout

                  Yadier Molina and John Lackey had a heated exchange in the St. Louis Cardinals' dugout during Monday's 3-2 victory over the Minnesota Twins.

                  I like this... Hope there is more conflicts in the Cards dugout soon.

                                The bullpen let them down yesterday and started a minor leaguer today against Harvey.

                                    Keep an eye on Steven Matz, looks like the Mets will call him up. Matz is 6-4 with a 2.30 ERA at Triple-A this season and is 23-20 with a 2.32 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in four seasons in the minors.
