That's a shame that that many quality pitchers will be out for over a year...

Bartolo Colon just makes me continue to smh! Just when I think he's washed up, he comes up with another gem...

Unreal! And to compound matters, of course it's against my beloved Buccos!

Toronto is hot heading into June! It'll be interesting to see if they continue to soar...

Jaime Garcia got the no-decision, allowing three runs over seven innings in Thursday's loss to the Giants.

With Thursday's walk-less outing, Garcia has yet to allow one in 19 2/3 innings over three starts since coming off of the disabled list. The lefty also allowed only five hits while striking out seven, bolstering his K/BB ratio to 19/0. Garcia will go after his second win in his next start against the Royals at home.

Garcia has been a nice addition back in the STL rotation.

The walk-less streak is really impressive. His control and hitting spots is right on point recently.

Also, pitching in the NL, it's surprising he hasn't issued an IBB during the streak.

Baseball is such a funny game.

I was heavily doubting on Liriano this year and then he does this on the road against the Dodgers tonight...

He has shown a couple signs of life lately but he still has a bit more to prove to be a solid starter like he was last year.

Tough pitching out on the West coast.

                              His 1st 3 starts weren't that bad.

Just glanced at the standings and was surprised to see Arizona 15 GB in the NL West.

                                Are they really this bad?

Interesting thing is that they're 14-14 on the road and a miserable 9-22 at home...

The Reds were thankful as they took 3 out of 4 in their house.

Riding a 3 game win streak. The Reds will now face the Giants for 3 games.

Aramis Ramirez (hamstring) will be activated from the disabled list on Wednesday.

Ramirez went 2-for-4 in his second rehab game with Low-A Wisconsin on Monday. He'll take Tuesday off before being activated Wednesday for the beginning of a two-game set in Minnesota. Look for the Brewers to use Ramirez in the DH spot initially as they try to ease him back into action.

The Brewers getting a boost of offense if he can pick up where he left off.

Arizona is pretty bad, they might be able to improve their home record a bit but they aren't going anywhere this year.

Is it time or past time to let AJ Burnett go or should I hold out a litttle longer?

Yeah, I think San Francisco wins the NL West and perhaps the World Series.

I actually thought Arizona would be decent this year.

They still have time to turn things around, but like you said, they must start playing better ball at home...
