#9636I'll follow up with one commentary. When observing the BTC price, best to scale OUT.
*BTC price in the short-term is quite volatile.
*If you view the BTC price as a fractal across Halving cycles, the wide-view price behaves very similarly.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

Saw it at 73k and didn't want to buy at the high. With that being said I know I got lucky.
Regardless, I bought this for a long term investment. Want to do shorter term day trading with Altcoins. But I know the learning curve is steep.
I haven't been able to contribute to the thread because I'm a newbie, but read every day and hopefully at some point will be educated enough to do so.Comment -

Put it this way. Anyone who has invested as a result of this thread has cleared a profit. If it's not 100%, then it's at least 98%. If you lost $$ in BTC, it's b/c you bought the peak and sold the bottom.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#9646If you're new, Youtube has tutorials on how to do just about everything in Crypto.
A hardware wallet is a good investment and a place to keep your major holdings. Ledger and Trezor are good but I lean towards Trezors lately. They frequently go on sale around big holidays and can be bought with crypto (I think they still do that). They are not that difficult to learn how to use. Again, Youtube will give you answers.
They say don't leave your Crypto on exchanges but if it is a small amount, I wouldn't worry too much.
Exodus is a good, free all-purpose wallet for desktop. It supports many cryptos. Exodus.io
When trying new exchanges or wallets, send a small amount ($10, $20)at first to make sure it works before you send large amounts.
I think most exchanges have an "easy buy" way to purchase crypto now but you really should learn how to set up a limit order on their main market page (with all the red and green numbers). A limit order will allow you to buy right away or set a price you would like to see the market drop into. The fees are usually lower when you do it this way.Comment -

#9650I don't think this ETH ETF is getting approved. BTC and SOL will continue to outperform ETH. If you really like SOL, grab some ecosystem tokens such as JUP. Personally, I spread it out. I don't want 100% in JUP since it's not a sure thing and BTC is a sure thing.Comment -

#9659Originally posted by themike78Ok. I was exaggerating a little with the snail mail comment. But now the old money transfer options used for books are a cheaper and quicker option to get money in and out of books. Bitcoin was supposed to replace all those methods but now its worse. And also my latest numbers are in and they are showing bitcoin to go down to about 37 cents by Friday morning.Comment -
