#248My streaming POD for tomorrow is Justin Steele (Cubs) in a great matchup against the Red Leggins. He's fanned 19 batters over his last 2 starts and seems like a safe move with some fun upside.
Conversely, you can also fade my POD and go with Hunter Greene (Red Leggins) after he changed his approach to be slider first, fastball second. Not a bad idea when you can surprise hitters with a 100 mph heater. As long as he can keep throwing the slider for strikes, he'll be able to produce against the Cubs. I have him ranked at #11 just outside of my top tier top 10 so you can always also go with the Cubs/Red Leggins UNDER FF in this format if you so choose.
Dakota Hudson is a coin flip and if those grounders turn into outs with the best defense in the bigs behind him, he can actually go up to 6 frames against the Brews.
I don't care what the matchup is for German Marquez, I'm not doing it. Do yourself a favor and ignore it completely and just take the over. this will be helped along by facing another DNS starter in Corbin (Nats)
Montas comes in at #1 however I placed Martin Perez at #9 as he's been arguably on a tear this season. He gets the easiest matchup of the past month in the A's bats and should be able to keep chugging forward. It's likely not going to last too much longer, so ride it while you can and get that fantasy league money.
So if you have Steele on your rosters-start him and yes do chase K'sComment -

8-1-0 on those and yes I will be cashing out some of the profits overnight in my 4 fantasy leagues. Don't be that guy who leaves his earnings in your betting account and being amazed at how much is in there. Why? Because the betting accounts for damn sure don't leave your money in the account when you lose. So adapt accordinglyComment -

#252Looks like Smeltzer is replacing Ryan today for the Twins which sort of jogs things up for my top tier top 10 as I had Ryan ranked at #7. So everybody moves up a notch and now much to my chagrin I am going to have to play an UNDER in Cincy; a launching pad with Steele/Greene with Steele (POD) moving up to #9 and Greene now slotted at #10. Other than that, no big wholesale changes and it appears that the amount of totals will be somewhat equal with sides today to accommodate top tier top 10's facing one another and two DNS arms facing each other. Be back in a bit with the moves that I will makeComment -

#258LOL! As expected the Cubs and Red Leggins have gone way over the total in the 3rd inning here 7-3 at the Cincy Launching Pad; and in so doing my POD (Justin Steele) has been leveled like a missile target.
I have never made a move this season that I was more confident that it would go down in flames.
However I stayed true to my streams so I will chalk it up as collateral damage and thank the gambling Gods that I cashed out last night should this be a precursor of how the day will turn out.Comment -

#262Looking ahead to tomorrow-there's a chance that Chase Silseth can make it work against the Jays. If his splitter is working at it's peak, he can earn whiffs on top of a 95+ heater and survive 5+ frames. however if you have Alek Manoah on your squads, you are absolutely starting him. Don't think about it-just do it.
Alex Faedo....his slider makes him the streamer POD. He didn't have it last time out against the Guardians, though I'm willing to wager it'll return in this matchup.
Gony Gonsolin and Jon Gray could both soar with their breakers and return top tier value facing lineups that aren't in my top 7 offenses.
Ian Anderson has dropped out of my top tier top 10 list. I want to believe that he will get back into a groove by the summer; though he struggles to stay inside the zone with his pitches at the moment. You may want to sit him or demote him to the second tier as I have.
Don't overlook Austin Gomber on the highway against the Nats. his breakers could be in full force and pull of a solid return to get your weekend started off right. I have him ranked 15th so he won't be on the list of moves for Friday-just something to keep your eyes on.
I also moved Carlos Carrasco down to the 2nd tier vs the Blunts and their hot wood at 14th and Zach Eflin's curveball showed up the last time out, and I'm not sure if it will work again. Play at your own risk.

#271I elected to go with the OVER for Jays/Halos even with Alek Manoah involved in the equation due to the teams both appearing on my top 7 offenses. Silseth has filthy stuff, yet I DNS'd him today because of his relatively lack of experience and the savvy of the Jays batsComment -

#272I just caught hell in the discord area of one of my leagues when I...well yes I have installed Alex Wood (Giants) in my top tier tomorrow despite his...rough season. The Red Leggins are TERRIBLE against lefties and Wood finally gets an easy matchup where his 92+ mph fastball and strong slider can properly run the gamut.
I rolled with Joe Musgrove (Fathers) tomorrow as my #1; followed by Cole (Bombers); and at #3 I have Alcantara (Fish), Eovaldi (Red Sox) at #4 (despite some turbulence, he still has a spot in the top tier as he faces the Men Wearing Orange. He found his splitter last time out and should make your trust very worth your while) and rounding out my top tier top 5 is literally a living mortgage sponsor for me this season Triston McKenzie (Guardians); who just dispensed the Astronauts with ease causing an immediate cash out situation. I still worry he doesn't have the strongest command, though a date with the Tigers warrants a "no matter what" start in my book. I will roll with him until the wheels fall offComment -

#276Okey dokey for starters Eovaldi is out as a healthy scratch; Triston McKenzie has had his start moved back to Sunday, and Merrill Kelly is in against Gonsolin. I have both of them on roster-however I wouldn't dare take an under at Chase Field. I am sticking with my Bieber/Faedo UNDER and lastlyI hae Cole (Bombers) as my number 2 today-however, the Rays are off of a shutout loss and I won't be going against that. Kluber is a DNS. Too many wacky things going on wit hthat to make a move in this format-so I will roll with Cole only in my leagues. Faedo stays locked in as the POD
