#353Subpar outing for Gallen with 4 K's and 2 BB's and 1 earned in the first 5 frames. He's still in there chugging along. He's already lost the head to head with Zach Thompson who finished with 4 K's and 2 BB's also-and the difference being the 0 earned runs which sent my Gallen streamer down in flames.
Lauer is imploding a bit here in the top of the 5th; painting himself into a corner at the wrong time for this platform LOL!
Giolito brought home the bacon. Only thing is that his use rate wasn't as low as i would have liked and cut down a bit on my profit margin.
Montas! Yes there's something good there. The Red Sox faithful are all over this one and the price is right at +240 head to head with Rich Hill and I have him across 4 leagues including the K's good for a nice take home of $960.00 off of $400 staked. Between this and the winnings from Junis I wouldn't need to win anything else between today and tomorrow. And Junis is still going!Comment -

#354Although I have my rosters set and I won't be able to get down on it in league play, there is one matchup that I didn't unearth that a fellow manager pointed out to me where there is some pretty decent value with the underdog. Not sure how I missed this.
There is a higher rated arm on the mound and that is Patrick Sandoval(#14) as an underdog to Kyle Gibson (#17) with the possibility to win straight up. My notes on Sandoval are he hasn't had the feel of his elite changeup lately, and if that is still the case-the Blunts could make it difficult for him. Gibson is having a subpar plate discipline year so far which is why I haven't used him more than a time or two. Another reason why I overlooked this move is the Halos have lost 10 in a row. I don't want to put a Mercury V12 Verado to a sinking dingy.
Wheeler delivered the check for me as promised yesterday with 9 K's and 2 BB's over 6 innings of work and only surrendering 2 runs; however he is s special pitcher and it takes that type to hold down the Halos potent offense. Gibson is anything but special and expect for the Halos to get to him early and often.
I didn't author this move so I am only describing it. It's up to you to make the determination whether you like it or not all integrity aside.Comment -

In my 4 leagues a huge win for Montas

Montas 6 innings 7 K's and 1 BB and 1 earned

#358I am back at it again today and healthier in the wallet after cashing out last night. The league President seems to not like that I have mastered getting my money back immediately after a good day
It's a small slate of games today, making Robbie Ray the sole member of my top tier, and even that is slightly debatable. I understand that Ray has run into the poor inning constantly of late and now with the Astronauts ahead, some managers aren't feeling great about it. I say throw away those fears. Ray is pitching to the level I wanted and you had best be running him out there. His reward is worth the risk.
At the same time I wish that Christian Javier was able to land breakers for strikes and keep his four seamer at the top of the zone last start, but alas, here I am feeling a bit uneasy about this start against ray and the Sailors. Don't worry about it thos-that was a bad day and he should be able to bounce back.
I was gonna make moves on the Red Sox and Halos offenses in my leagues anyway so I will share the OVER for two of my top tier offenses in this format. Syndergaard has been a gas can lately and I wouldn't trust Wacha's stuff with your money if I were you.
No POD today although a flyer on Ross Stripling is suggested if you absolutely HAVE to name a value streamer for your leagues. I wouldn't do that if I were you. Better off waiting it out until Tuesday in my opinion and just go with who you have on roster today

#359Javier is 3-0 when starting against the Sailors with an ERA of 0.00 and a WHIP of 0.709. Let's hope that he can keep it up. Getting a slice of his side of the arbitrage pie was pretty steep. I can't think of one manager that didn't snap him up yesterday at opening. I am going to wait right up until game time to stake out my Ray move however. His use rate today is less than 15% which is shaping up to be another one of those +300 or more bangers should he outperform Javier.
Daniel Lynch (Royals) is by far the ultimate prize today at an unholy +430 and rising to outperform Stripling. The only problem here is that the Jays offense is what he's up against. His use percentage is below 5%. I may have to throw a few shillings in this direction World Cup style should the price get to +500.
Getting off subject I absolutely LOVE betting World Cup in soccer. I put $3200 in Bookmaker and BLINDLY bet each and every underdog each and every day with a hundred bucks. Sometimes you can win $2500 in a day without thinking about it when some of those +1250 underdogs win outright in one day. Tune in November 21stComment -

#361Here's another nugget!
Tough stretch: The Rays only play teams ranked above them for the next nine games. Translated the Rays will start to get extreme value over those 9 games with Cardinals, Twins and Bombers; and looking at pitching they should be able to cover some ground against the Twins especially. The Cardinals have so-so pitching and a GREAT defense to back them up. The Bombers are beating everyone. End of storyComment -

#363However it's ACE DAY. The names will be the main cast of characters that I have been using since day one with the exception of Konnor Pilkington (Guardians) who I elected to use as my POD. Very little support and is on less than 20% of rosters. Should he do well I can snatch back most of what I lost yesterday in one fell swoop. My Aces will always deliver sacks of money-even if their team loses in this format.
Speaking of which today in this format I am a little more exposed than I typically like to be-however it's ACE DAY and RL it is. I refuse to make a move for over -165 on anything

#364Konnor Pilkington is in my third tier, and I am not the biggest fan of his-however he becomes the top play out of the third tier and became my POD. He's fresh off an 8 K performance and with a great two start week ahead, he could begin on the right note against the Wanderers. I grabbed him last night because of this and he gets the start while basically everyone else in my second and third tier are all going to sit todayComment -

#376It’s a short Monday with plenty of aces, including a phenomenal matchup of Gerritt Cole and Shane McClanahan. Start them both.
The Great Undulater Jose Berrios starts against the White Sox and since his mid-May outing against the Yankees, he’s been exactly the man you wanted him to be when you drafted him. Roll with BerrÃos. And while you are at it; It wasn’t the season debut we were looking for from Lance Lynn last week and it’s no fun to see him face the Blue Jays. Despite the issues, I think Lynn will shake off rust here and is worth the start as he aims to reclaim his Top 15 SP status.
Miles Mikolas returns after tossing 129 pitches as he was one strike away from a no-hitter and while we should expect some fatigue lingering, he’s still a play to make against the Brewers. Interestingly enough he is facing one of my all stars in Corbin Burnes so you already know what to do with this one.
My streaming pick of the day is Zach Davies. His changeup has been fantastic as of late and the Fathers are poor against right-handers. There’s still a low floor, but he’s my favorite of the options available. Plus when every manager is blasting away on Darvish you get incredible value with Davies. I wouldn't mind the slightest if both of them have scoreless innings with several K's!

#377Oh how I love those 3X wins like what happened with the Bombers/Rays, Giants/Braves and Cardinals/Brews is trending in that direction. Both sets of men handled their business and I got the FF win to boot. Since Lance Lynn was +money and only catching 35% of streaming from managers. I didn't mind taking the loss with the Great Undulater and the FF loss. With the Cardinals/Brews pending that's potentially 10-2 to start the night with more action to come.Comment -

#378I know, I know. The Rox are a horrible road team. Despite that, when I see an early 90% of the money on the Fish and Daniel Castano I have to go the other way while most are looking at the metrics of the Rox overall record. There is a false favorite in this one.
My Streamer POD for tomorrow is Ryan Feltner (Rox) who sits at #14 and I have Castano (Fish) ranked DEAD LAST at #30. I am going to get back to business with this one and roll with Feltner in 2 leagues overnight and I may add on some more in the morningComment -

#380- I’ve been loving the Tyler Mahle resurgence…against the Diamondbacks. Now he has to head back home and face the Dodgers and it makes me all kinds of upset. Talk about a high-risk/reward play. I already have Gonsolin (#3)on my roster so with this event I am going to go with them in fantasy only and not this format.
- I saw Jack Flaherty (#10) return last week with lower velocity and it wasn’t what I had in mind. However, I often see pitchers need a few starts to ramp back up and I imagine this outing against the Brewers will be another step in the right direction. I’d take the chance. Little too many moving parts for this format so I rolled with him in fantasy league only as well.
- Okay so now on to what you want without my #10 and #3 in the mix. I will be back later on with the number assigned to Cortes, Jr. and the Bombers
