I am rolling with Verlander (#1); Cole (#2); and Cease (#4) in my fantasy leagues only. The price for them to perform is a little higher than I am willing to shell out for this format. If you have them on your rosters start em! I decided to go after the DNS pitchers facing one another today in it's stead.

Holy smokes! Tomorrow a lot of routine OVER bettors are going to get their hats handed to them if not careful. Although there aren't many household names on the bumps there are some really goof matchups such as McClanahan vs Castillo, Cortes Jr. vs Wacha, Skubal vs Giolito, Lopez vs Bassitt and Urquidy vs Backburn. Gallen gets Rocky Road at home too. My fantasy roster may be inline for an explosion and a possible cash out in one single day. I am looking to get a Manager of the Month bonus this month after relinquishing my title in June; and I won't be undersold

I started Cortes, Jr, Charlie Morton, in my fantasy league only-the Bosox switched to Connor Seabold overnight. In other roster moves yes in fact I did sit Tarik Skubal today against the Pale Hose bats. Somehow Paul Blackburn ended up in DNS when I compared his arsenal of pitches vs the Astronauts. So some of the names from my rosters may not be o this format for today.

              Anyway here is the rest

              Rot.#951 Fish/Metropolitans UNDER 4 -125 FF Lopez (#5)/Bassitt (#6)
              Rot.#979 Rays/Red Leggins UNDER 4 -115 FF McClanahan (#1)/Castillo (#4)

Thanks for the nice comments y'all! I am just a data miner trying to see how the fantasy league game works in this format.

Lots of roster movement overnight. I have to come up with some super tight lineups after the All Star Break. There is tough competition out there.

I have no idea who makes these lines up. So when I find that a DNS pitcher is FAVORED over my 13th ranked pitcher one has to put the ideal to work. ideals are important in one's life. Without them one cannot make moves. Whether they are successful or not is immaterial as long as one approximates them...

Ok so Woodruff, Kershaw, Framber Valdez, Kyle Wright, Rodon, and Darvish are only going to be on fantasy leagues today

Ordinarily I would have gone with Darvish/Rodon UNDER, however Dan Bellino is a crisp 11-5 for the OVER behind the plate..

Damn..sometimes I hate this format. Patrick Sandoval gave me 6 innings of shutout ball with 5 hits 10 K's and 1 BB and in this format the move wasn't a winning option. Anytime you can get a pitcher to get you 10 Ks you are the zen master in fantasy

I close my eyes and in my mind I go to a happy place-a place where DNS pitchers are facing one another in a high run producing park. Then I awake and I press the button

Oh man what a bad beat with Sandoval, and also with the Bombers/Red Sox-a game that eventually sailed over the total in the top of the 6th inning! Ouch! I may have to do some full game totals-especially with DNS pitchers facing one another

I could potentially take a hit today with Gausman (#4) simply because I am stubborn and am willing to take that hit in the event that he is not named the starter. Should I sit him I may have a insane re-up price to get him back on roster. Urias (#3) is overvalued right now and it would be nothing short of stupid to make a move on him priced this way in this format. Logan Gilbert could overpower the Jays with his heater anyway.

Two Florida men lead the way on Sunday with Alcantara and Baz. Baz is working toward his AGA label as Sandy could soar for another 7+ inning start because why not? I have him snugly in the #2 slot today and yes I am chasing K's in another league. It’s not the worst idea to flip the coin with Ian Anderson as he faces the Nationals, but I’d rather feature those in tier three instead of praying for Anderson’s command to soar. This has OVER written all over it.

On the hunt for events with DNS pitchers facing one another I stumbled upon Rox/Snakes; Blunts/Cardinals and again Nats/Braves. I am still undecided as to whether I will make a move to a full game over or first half so stay tuned. it would be advantageous to wait it out and see who's calling the events behind the dish

Ok so here's what it is

                                Rot.#953 Fish/Metropolitans UNDER 3.5 -115 FF Alcantara (#1)/Walker (#5) (63% Umpire)/(Park Factor #17)
                                Rot.#979 Rays-139 ML FF Baz (#2) (55.17% Umpire)
                                Rot.#951 Nats/Braves OVER 5.5 -110 FF Anderson (DNS)/Espino (DNS) (100% Umpire) (Park Factor #7)
                                Rot.#961 Rox/Snakes OVER 5 -110 FF Marquez (DNS)/Gilbert (DNS) (62.5% Umpire)/ (Park Factor #8)
                                Rot.#957 Blunts/Cardinals OVER 4.5 -120 FF Pallante (DNS)/Nelson (DNS) (80% Umpire)/Park Factor (#27)

Looking over the moves the one that may cause a little wet feet would be the park factor for the Cardinals at #27; yet and still with two DNS pitchers facing one another I like my chances. Those seeking a little more comfort and adding in the factor of suspect bullpens you may want to go with the FULL GAME totals on my offerings. I am testing out more mining on my moves by involving the umpires and the park factors this week.

Ok so I am not actually pissed at the data mining results given that there were some near misses. When trying to add more customization to craftsmanship a few trials and tribulations may occur. As long as the ideal is approximated I can live with the results-especially over the course of a long MLB season. There will be winning weeks and losing weeks. it's the nature of wagering every day. I am going to give it a go again with no fear or shame

There are so many DNS pitchers facing one another today it's ridiculous... Cole (NYY); Webb (SF), are fantasy league only material today...I am keeping Gausman on roster despite more than likely missing this start today. Cease and Bieber are also going to be fantasy only which drops me down to Strider in this format for today and the rest will be DNS starters facing one another as I make moves to get back on track.

Rolling with McClanahan (#1) and Severino (#3) in fantasy streamers today. If you've got em start em! I went against my better judgement with Pablo Lopez in this format and went OVER given the DNS status of JT Brubaker who is a veritable gas can. best believe that I have Lopez in all 4 leagues and yes I am chasing K's. Also I am hoping that the marine layer helps out with the Astronauts and Halos playing so late. Ohtani is topping out at 100 mph on his 4 seam and it is a very heavy pitch. Christian Javier has found his feel for his slider and the Halos don't handle that pitch well outside of Mike Trout who routinely takes on the first pitch from any pitcher. Hopefully Javier throws it only on that first pitch!

I got back home from our camping trip in time to see some of the MLB Draft tonight. I am very excited to see some of the moves that the Red Leggins made to shore up their pitching problems!

I saw so many of my top tier streamers in the All-Star game that I went absolutely nuts! I will have to wait until the end of the full season to get my bonuses however and that actually sits fine with me to have a punctuation. Now for the bad-Gerritt Cole and Justin Verlander didn't throw a single pitch! Ouch!

I am not too pleased that the Astronauts decided to go with Javier and Garcia instead of Verlander. No big deal in the end however. The double header with the Bombers should produce a win out of one of them however so my advice is to watch the result of the first game and then go with the losing team of that game in the second game.

I am rolling with Pablo Lopez and Jon Gray to keep the score low for the first five; although Lopez has tumbled a bit in my streams due wholly to the fact that he is no longer throwing the purpose pitch high and inside to right handed batters to set up his wonderful array of top tier pitches with superb location. The result has been a few more late count hits by opposing batters.

Grabbing some Montas in this format at the height of the amount of juice that I am willing to dole out is a slight elimination of risk given the A's cold bats this season-however he's just that good

The Bombers at Men Wearing Orange should provide plenty of fireworks with German and Wells; two DNS pitchers facing one another.

Cole Irvin makes his return for the A's and I am all over it; I snatched him up overnight and am sitting pretty with a good price

I am definitely going to drop him down in my roster to the bottom end of the top tier. He isn't getting guys off of the plate anymore and the Wanderers were digging in....
