- Competitive Lines
- User-friendly Site
- Large Rollover Requirements on Bonuses
BetUS offers a reasonable range of sports to bet on and some interesting props. The site is clean and uncluttered.
You have a number of different options if you decide to become a BetUS customer, ranging from Membership Package A to Membership Package F. If you go for Package A, you must make an initial deposit of anywhere from $100 to $299. You will receive a 50% sign-up bonus if you use a credit card, or a 100% sign-up bonus if you make the deposit using a cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. BetUS also includes a 10% re-up bonus, a 10% casino chip bonus and 10% Gambler’s Insurance for Package A.
Membership Package G requires an initial sportsbook deposit of $10,000 or more. Once again, you receive a 50% sign-up bonus for credit card deposits or a 100% crypto sign-up bonus. However, with this package you receive a 50% re-up bonus. The re-up bonus becomes more attractive if you deposit more money: Package A offers 10%, Package B offers 15%, Package C offers 20% and so on.
The Gambler’s Insurance is always 10%, while the Casino Chip bonus is always 10% apart from Package B, which is just 5%,
Gambler’s Insurance is a BetUS sportsbook customer bonus granted to players based on 10% of their net losses on deposits made from August to January and February to July. Gambler’s Insurance must be requested within the first two weeks of February and/or August. To qualify you must keep your account active with at least two wagers per week.
The BetUS rollover requirement changes with each sportsbook membership package. Package A has a three-time rollover requirement, but Package G has a 10-time rollover requirement. Baseball is only counted as half action towards the rollover, while props and futures do not count, nor do casino bets at the BetUS site.
Players have previously struggled to withdraw money from a BetUS account, as they have been told they must play a significant chunk of their balance or make a number of wagers due to a past rollover from historical bonuses before they can think about requesting funds. This has not been a huge issue in 2020, but there have been a number of historical complaints. BetUS sportsbook customers report that their winnings have been held ransom due to these convoluted bonus rollover requirements, and they often prefer to switch to an alternative sportsbook and refuse any form of free play bet.
You can accrue points as part of a loyalty program at betus.com.pa. You will receive more free play online betting offers and rewards if you move up to a higher package on the system. BetUS sportsbook also offers free contests, merchandise, and other incentives in a bid to keep customers loyal. As you can see from our 2020 review, BetUS website offers many exciting bonuses and promotions, but you should always think twice before accepting them.
Another area related to bonuses that BetUS has been criticized on from both SBR and players is the excessive “Bait and Switch” tactics. This occurs when a player is offered a specific bonus incentive to sign up and deposit, and after the deposit is received by BetUS, the offer is then rescinded. Typically, it is claimed that the player received the offer in error and is considered a non-recreational bettor unable to receive such perks. The player is then stuck in a frustrating scenario where he has to turnover his funds in the sportsbook, despite not receiving the offer he signed up for.
The BetUS site is clean, uncluttered, and easy to navigate. The sports BetUS covers are listed in order of popularity on the left of the screen, starting with football, basketball, ice hockey, soccer, and baseball. A handy feature called Last Minute Bets alerts you to big sporting events that are about to take place, and there is a specific section for live betting.
BetUS is undeniably a user-friendly sportsbook site. The bet slip is intuitive, and it allows you to compile parlays, teasers, and so on with ease. The design is quite basic, but some players will appreciate the clear and effective layout and the lack of distractions as they bid to find the market they are interested in. BetUS lacks a search toolbar, which would help players find sporting events with greater ease.
Sports Betting Experience
The BetUS sporting coverage is reasonably narrow. The site has sections for rugby, esports, motorsports, entertainment, and politics, but they are largely empty. For instance, BetUS had no markets on rugby despite the Six Nations taking place that weekend, while there were no odds on the upcoming F1 Grand Prix, the CS:GO Major or the Democrat primaries. However, if you are interested in major leagues like NFL and NBA or major events like the Super Bowl then you should find plenty of options.
In a regular-season NBA game, you will find classic sports betting markets like the point spread, moneyline, and total points to wager on. Props will include double result, the winning margin, and the team with the highest-scoring quarter. It is nice to have more wagering options beyond the classics, but rival sportsbooks offer many more exotic props than BetUS. Yet it is good to see strong coverage of NCAA, WNBA, WNCAA, and also international basketball, which covers the Euroleague.
The BetUS coverage of world soccer is also pretty impressive. It has lines on all the big leagues, such as the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and of course MLS, but it also covers lower league soccer, cup tournaments, and leagues all over the world, from Australia to Turkey. However, the list of wagering options leaves something to be desired. At the very best online sportsbooks, you will find hundreds of bets on offer in a single soccer game, but BetUS only offers moneyline, a basic handicap, total goals, correct score, and half-time/full-time betting.
It is interesting to note that BetUS covers cricket in pretty good depth, despite it not being too popular among US players. You will also find plenty of online betting possibilities when it comes to cricket and golf. Our sportsbook review found that the site could offer more props, but overall it covers these sports reasonably well. The Live Betting section is fairly basic, and this sportsbook does not offer live streaming, but BetUS deserves credit for covering a wide range of live events, particularly on soccer.
Quality of Odds
BetUS sportsbook offers competitive odds in a bid to stand out in a crowded online sports betting market in 2020. The betting lines are often attractive compared to the market average. Its moneyline odds are often among the most generous available on various sports, from basketball to soccer. The site does not offer reduced juice, but BetUS has some interesting spreads.
For instance, if the majority of betting sites are offering -110 on a 10-point spread, BetUS might offer -110 on an 11-point spread, giving you a greater chance of success if you back one of the teams.
We analyzed the BetUS betting lines on upcoming NBA games, Premier League games, NHL contests, and a WTA tournament for this 2020 sportsbook review, and we found that BetUS compared well with its peers. However, you should always ask yourself, is BetUS.com legit? BetUS is licensed by Curacao Gaming, but many members of the SBR community have voiced complaints about this sportsbook over the years.
Mobile Betting Review
BetUS has an optimized site for mobile devices. This mobile sportsbook is very easy to navigate and user friendly. You should have little trouble finding the sporting event you are interested in and getting your money up in a timely fashion. The bet slip also works well on mobile devices, which is particularly helpful when you are taking advantage of the live betting on offer at BetUS. The design is a little basic, and you are unlikely to be bowled over by the aesthetics, but it is clear, simple, uncluttered, and very effective.
The BetUS casino offers a wide range of super slots and table games to choose from. There is a thriving blackjack section, featuring a number of different variants, with betting limits ranging from $1 to $500. The video poker section also has plenty of games to browse. Aside from blackjack and video poker, other card games at the site include baccarat, three card poker, Caribbean stud poker, pai gow, and more, while you can also choose roulette and craps. It also offers five-reel slots, super slots, landmark slots, all-star slots, and a few other options, while the BetUS site has video bingo and keno on offer too.
There is also a racebook that offers betting lines on tracks from across North America, Australia, Hong Kong, and Dubai. Some players might like to see racing in Europe, Japan, and South Africa covered, but overall the racebook is pretty strong. You will find harness racing too, plus a specific section for Kentucky Derby prep races. There is another section for greyhound racing at BetUS.
BetUS may entice you in with attractive bonuses and some compelling sports wagering lines, but you should know that it might take a bit of effort to receive any winnings from this sportsbook. Is BetUS legal? BetUS is a licensed company, and many customers have received fair treatment, but some customers have been treated unfairly in the past after playing at this site. For reviews of highly recommended sportsbooks by SBR see our Bovada Review, BetOnline Review, BookMaker Review and Intertops Review.
The poor reputation that BetUS holds among certain players might put you off. The BetUS payout process leaves much to be desired. Players have reported significant delays when trying to withdraw their winnings, and many disputes have arisen over bonus rollover requirements. It can be frustrating to find a sports betting site that is keen to accept a sportsbook deposit, but then puts up numerous obstacles to prevent players from making a withdrawal. That is the main reason why we have been forced to give the BetUS website a mixed review.
If you are looking for a great all-round sportsbook, BetUS does not tick all the necessary boxes. If you want to take advantage of its attractive bonuses, wide range of deposit options, enticing betting lines, and various sportsbook markets, then go ahead. But just remember that you might need to be dogged and persistent when trying to withdraw funds. Keep in mind the bonus rollover requirement stipulations, and avoid taking free bet options if you fear it might make the withdrawal process difficult.
