A top-10 featherweight scrap is on the menu Saturday night when Calvin Kattar exchanges violent pleasantries with Arnold Allen in the main event of UFC Fight Night. Read on for our top UFC Fight Night parlay picks.

Allen’s slow march toward the featherweight throne continues on Saturday night when he takes on battle-tested veteran Kattar. The latter has alternated wins and losses over his past four bouts but has faced truly elite talent over that stretch.

Allen is 11-0 during his seven-year UFC tenure, but his resume isn’t nearly as strong as Kattar’s, and a convincing win on Saturday would likely launch him into the title picture at 145 pounds.

The card also features a light heavyweight bout with a high potential for ultraviolence between Khalil Rountree and Dustin Jacoby, a welterweight clash pitting Tim Means against Max Griffin, and a heavyweight scrap featuring the ageless Andrei Arlovski.

Here are my top parlay picks for UFC Fight Night on Oct. 29 (odds via Bet365; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Top UFC Fight Night Parlay Predictions

Hooper by TKO/KO/DQ/submission (-105) ★★★★

Other sportsbooks are offering TKO/KO and submission wins as separate bets, but this feels like it carries the most value. Hooper has finished nine of his 11 victories inside the distance, with five of them being submissions, while the other four came via TKO/KO. If you’re having a hard time choosing between stoppages, Bet365 covers all of them in one selection.

I expect Hooper to drag Garcia to the mat and unleash his grappling wizardry to either polish “Mean Machine” off with a steady stream of ground-and-pound or snake in an air-restricting submission.

Jacoby by TKO/KO/DQ/submission (+137) ★★★★

After Jacoby was jettisoned from the UFC following an initial disappointing 0-2 run, “The Hanyak” fought in other organizations and also plied his trade as a professional kickboxer. He’s since returned to the Octagon, where’s parlayed his vicious striking into a four-fight winning streak.

Jacoby will have a willing combatant in Rountree, who has racked up consecutive TKO victories. Unfortunately, for the wildly inconsistent Rountree, this recent success on the feet will embolden him to stand and trade with Jacoby. This will prove to be his downfall.

I expect Jacoby to spark Rountree early, melting his jaw with a first- or second-round knockout.

Kattar by decision/technical decision (+240) ★★★★

Although he sports the “Boston Finisher” moniker, I don’t expect Kattar to completely style on Arnold. Instead, the two will engage in a hotly contested bout in which Kattar will use sheer volume to outpoint Arnold over 25 minutes.

Allen has never been finished in his 19-fight career, and Kattar has gone to the scorecards in four straight fights. This fight screams five-rounder, with the more seasoned Kattar just barely keeping his spot in the featherweight top five.
