Since that disappointment, Colombia have been revitalized. They lost to Argentina in the Copa America Final and finished tied for third in CONMEBOL.
With former World Cup winner and defensive specialist Fabio Cannavaro at the helm, Uzbekistan will be well-organized and disciplined. They will make it challenging for Colombia to penetrate, but I don't feel they have enough going forward to pose a disconcerting threat to the South American side.

Luis Diaz was in fine form in cup competitions to culminate the season, scoring in six of the previous German Cup at Champions League contests. He also scored for Colombia in a pre-tournament match against Costa Rica before being withdrawn in the 74th minute.
