New Zealand played fearlessly in attack against Iran, but were less than convincing at the back while conceding several chances that saw Iran fight back twice from one-goal deficits. Iran's opportunities have surely been studied by Mohamed Salah, whose pace and lethal finishing could propel Egypt to a crucial victory.
Along with being Egypt's primary penalty taker, Salah remains the centerpiece in coach Hossam Hassan's system. Omar Marmoush is a threat as well, but we expect Salah to benefit from the open space created whenever New Zealand defenders have their eyes on the Manchester City forward.
