Inter Miami -1.25 asian handicap (-148)
The one-goal buffer matters here. The Herons have superior possession numbers, will dominate action in the box, and their chance creation (they lead MLS in big chances created) will eventually overwhelm.
Despite season-long numbers heavily favoring Inter, their recent form has been rough: across six games in August through all comps, they've mustered just one win (a 4-2 victory over Atletico de San Luis in Liga MX in the opening game of the Leagues Cup). Although Messi missed some of those games for personal reasons, he's returned for the last two: a 4-1 loss to Nashville SC and a 2-2 draw at Philadelphia. 4
TFC, meanwhile, has been sneaky since play resumed, winning 2-1 over New England and drawing Charlotte 3-3 despite picking up a red card at the 56th minute (and going down 3-1 just two minutes later).
However, Toronto finds itself without Niklas Dorsch due to a facial fracture suffered late against Charlotte. So with a new and promising attacking threat sidelined, I like Miami to get the job done by at least one goal.

I'm playing these markets separately - not as a parlay - but ultimately a lot of the same breakdown goes into why I'm playing them.
First, while TFC's defensive numbers aren't atrocious, they're not very reassuring against a squad generating 3.85 big chances per match. Miami should see the bulk of the ball, is strong in touches in the opponents' box, and averages over six shots on target per game. Given their recent run of results, I don't think the Herons will be content to sit back if they get out to a 1-0 or 2-0 lead. They scored four on seven SOT in the first meeting.
And with that in mind, I think Miami will keep the pressure up deep into the game regardless of the scoreline. The price on the 7.5 corners is particularly appealing to me, with the +150 market carrying a 40% implied probability for a market I think is probably closer to +110 or +115. It's just a quarter-unit play on a number I think is favorable.
