The New York Rangers will try for the second game in a row to book a spot in their second Eastern Conference Final in three seasons when they meet the Carolina Hurricanes for Monday's Game 5 at Madison Square Garden, as we offer our Hurricanes vs. Rangers predictions based on the best NHL odds. 

The Carolina Hurricanes (52-23-7) found a way to win Game 4 against the New York Rangers (55-23-4) on Saturday, scoring their first power-play goal of the series with just over three minutes left to secure victory.

Jake Guentzel anytime goal ⭐⭐⭐

While the Rangers managed to prevent Jake Guentzel from scoring in Game 4, the Hurricanes left-winger was a threat throughout. He fired six shots on goal and notched an assist. Guentzel has four playoff goals, three of which were against the Rangers. Unlike the rest of his teammates, the former Pittsburgh Penguin salivates at the prospect of playing the Rangers.

Adam Fox Over 0.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Adam Fox had an assist in Games 1 and 2 at Madison Square Garden before being held off the scoresheet in Games 3 and 4 at PNC Arena. He had a helper in four straight contests prior to Game 4 and should be far more aggressive joining the play in Game 5. The Rangers will want to avoid returning to Raleigh, N.C., for a Game 6 and should push the tempo more than in Games 3 and 4.
