The Hart Trophy odds favorite, who leads the league with 38 goals, has netted in only one of the previous seven games.
Which means he's due. Not only because probabilities suggest he is, but also because he scored seven goals in the previous five meetings against the Ottawa Senators, including in the last three. And remember, the Sens have shipped four goals or more in five of the last seven.

Tkachuk scored a goal in four of the last seven games and has two in the previous three meetings with the Colorado Avalanche.
He has five in the last eight against the Stanley Cup odds betting favorite and is finally starting to play at the level most expected. The Senators' captain will hope to capitalize on the Avs' worst stretch of the season.
Mathew Barzal looking to add to impressive assists tally (+100) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Barzal has 11 helpers in the previous 11 games and faces a New York Rangers team that is enduring an abject defensive run.
Without Igor Shesterkin to lean heavily on, the Rangers have conceded at least four goals in six of the previous nine games. The New York Islanders, meanwhile, were much better last time out against Philly, scoring four times after netting once in the previous two.
Zach Werenski, Blue Jackets, Over 1.5 points (+196) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Werenski scored two points against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Columbus Blue Jackets' last game. And he enters the game having scored two points in consecutive meetings against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The odds at the best sports betting sites are so long because he has only two multi-point contests in the previous 10 games. But I'll take my chances against a Flyers team that has allowed at least four goals in seven of the previous nine games.
