The 35-year-old Tavares is turning back the clock in his 18th NHL campaign, recording 24 points in his first 19 games to rank second in team scoring and 11th in the league.

He’s even found a way to elevate his game with Auston Matthews out of the lineup, pacing Toronto in shots over the past five games and generating 0.33 expected goals per game during that stretch. Some of that increased production could also be due to the fact that Tavares has played more than 20 minutes in each of his last three games.

Since being a healthy scratch earlier this month, Kyrou has consistently been one of the Blues’ most dangerous and effective forwards.
