The Cardinals (4-8) are already three games back in the loss column in the Wild Card chase. Monday night boils down to whether the Patriots (6-6) can go on the road and keep their own playoff hopes sturdy in a fairly deep AFC.

SGP Predictions For Patriots vs Cardinals
Cardinals +2.5 (-110) ★★★
The season-long trends on this game don’t necessarily favor one direction or another, as New England is 6-5-1 ATS on the campaign. Arizona is 6-6 ATS and 3-3 ATS in home games. But the Cardinals performed admirably at home in a one-point loss to the Chargers last week after getting Kyler Murray back from injury.
Murray had been inconsistent earlier in the season but appeared to have fresh legs after missing a few weeks due to a hamstring strain. Given the way Justin Fields surprisingly sliced up the Patriots’ defense with his dual-threat abilities earlier this season, this could be a sneaky opportunity for Kyler to take over a game in ways we haven’t seen yet this year.
Having a fully healthy Kyler integrated with an active DeAndre Hopkins and a healthy Marquise Brown has been a rarity for Arizona this season, and something Arizona can take advantage of on Monday. DraftKings and FanDuel both offer the line at Cardinals +2.5, with DraftKings listing the odds at -110, FanDuel at -115.
Stevenson 6+ receptions (+115) ★★★★★
This is a play offered only by DraftKings, which means that’s where we’re landing for our parlay (FanDuel does not include reception totals among its same-game parlay options). With Jakobi Meyers still in the concussion protocol, the responsibilities in the Patriots’ receiving game will be spread out among other options.
That should mean wheels up for Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson, who hasn’t needed attrition to the New England receiver room in recent weeks to make his mark through the air. Stevenson has proven himself as an adept pass-catcher out of the backfield, hitting on this receiving total in five of his last six games. On the year, he’s caught 56 of his 67 targets for a catch percentage that ranks fourth among NFL running backs.
Considering Stevenson was already vitally important to the New England passing game even with Meyers in the lineup, he feels like a mortal lock for a big game through the air on Monday.

With four rushing touchdowns and one through the air, Stevenson hasn’t exactly lit it up in the scoring department this season. But there’s plenty of reason to believe he’ll find paydirt on Monday Night Football.
With Damien Harris listed as doubtful, the bulk of the backfield workload will flow to Stevenson. Arizona ranks in the middle of the pack in the NFL in allowing 13 rushing touchdowns on the year. The Cardinals have also allowed more receiving touchdowns than all but three NFL teams. Considering Stevenson’s likely involvement in the passing game as described above, he’s easily the most probable touchdown scorer on either side of the ball on Monday.
The play to include two positive props for the New England running back provides correlation, which is typically not rewarded as heavily by the same-game parlay oddsmakers. But stacking those plays alongside a Cardinals cover triggers an odds boost for contradictory plays that pushes our parlay into respectable territory for the return on investment.
