Eagles to cover the spread: -6 ⭐⭐⭐

I offered the Eagles at -5.5 as part of my conference championships early picks and planned to flip to the Commanders if they went to +7 at any of our best sports betting sites.

That has yet to happen, as the majority are sitting at Eagles -6, with only FanDuel at -6.5. Therefore, I'm still backing the home favorites in this letdown spot for the underdog Commanders.

I just simply think the Eagles have too much information on Daniels to make the same mistakes the Detroit Lions did. Not only is there lots of film on him, but these two teams already met twice this season.

Saquon Barkley Over 12.5 receiving yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

One wouldn't know it by looking at the box score, but the Commanders might've figured out how to slow down - not stop - Barkley in the second half of their last matchup.

Barkley has torched Washington for nearly 300 rushing yards this season. However, he struggled to get anything going the last two quarters.

Of course, it must be said that Jalen Hurts being sidelined early in that bout likely impacted Barkley's numbers down the stretch. It provided a blueprint nonetheless, which the visitors would be foolish not to revisit given the running back has carried his offense through the playoffs thus far.

The Eagles will try to get the ball to the NFL MVP odds candidate as much as possible to avoid disaster. He's gone Over 12.5 receiving yards in seven games this year, including a season-high 52 yards in the first meeting with Washington. A $10 winning wager would return $9.09 in profits.

Barkley has been unstoppable against the Commanders this season, scoring two touchdowns in both matchups against them. And while the Commanders are in the middle of a magical postseason, their run defense is still a problem. They allowed Jahmyr Gibbs to run for 105 yards and two touchdowns last week.

The three-time Pro Bowler is coming off a 205-yard, two-touchdown game against the Los Angeles Rams. While the Rams trotted out a weak run defense this season, they were significantly better than the Commanders.

Make sure you shop around for this prop. Caesars is setting the price at +135. That implies a 42.55% chance that Barkley scores twice in this game. While that may be accurate, the price at DraftKings implies just a 28.17% chance, so the value difference is significant.
