I love the “chip on the shoulder” attitude that Robert Morris has played with this year. The Colonials were picked to finish ninth in the preseason Horizon League poll, and they haven't ended up higher than sixth in the league since 2020.

However, Robert Morris was the league's best team all season, and the school earned its spot in the final after coming back from a 13-point second-half deficit in the semifinals against the conference’s most respected head coach in Oakland’s Greg Kampe.

While the Colonials didn't benefit from any rest days after coming off their first overtime game in two months, they shouldn't be at a disadvantage from an energy standpoint, as Youngstown State needed to deal with Cleveland State’s tiring press yesterday.
