Best NBA Parlays Today: Picks, Predictions for Friday's Games

Is Trae Young able to put aside his playoff woes and lead the Atlanta Hawks to victory? Jon Metler shares two of his favorite NBA same-game parlays for Friday's games using the latest NBA odds. 

To increase the vibes around this bet, I included a YouTube video of some of Trae Young's best plays from this season. I'm manifesting that the Atlanta Hawks point guard will bounce back from his recent struggles, and the betting odds allow me to take such a stance. 

Role players tend to shoot the ball more efficiently at home during the playoffs, so I look forward to seeing the Hawks shooters settle in and help Young hit an alternate Over on his assist prop.

NBA SGP predictions: Celtics vs. Hawks

Trae Young 10+ assists vs. Celtics (+160)

Trae Young has been catching strays left and right throughout these playoffs, and I look forward to watching him respond at home on Friday night in Game 3. This narrative is also supported by the numbers, as Young is projected to have 9.4 assists against the Celtics. We can therefore price Young at +120 instead of the +160 we currently see on FanDuel for 10-plus assists. 

Trae Young Over 25.5 points vs. Celtics (-102)

It's the same narrative for Young, just another prop that offers value towards the Over for the Hawks point guard. As Young is projected to score 27.2 points on Friday, we can price the Over 25.5 points at -122.

FanDuel has the highest total at 25.5 points, while all the other best sports betting sites trade this prop at 24.5 points. However, since FanDuel's juice is low at -102, compared to PointsBet's -125, playing the Over 25.5 points actually gives us a better expected value based on our projection.

NBA SGP predictions: Cavaliers vs. Knicks

Julius Randle Over 3.5 assists vs. Cavaliers (+126)

This is one of my favorite bets on the board for Friday's NBA player props and that's why it earned a five star rating as a straight bet in our NBA best bets article. Randle is projected to have 4.2 assists on Friday, which means we can price this prop at -140. 

Caris LeVert 4+ assists vs. Knicks (+220)

I've also placed LeVert Over 2.5 assists at +100 in our NBA best bets, but this line has since moved to -113 at FanDuel, so we'll take LeVert on an alternate market to maintain our high expected value.

LeVert can be priced at +140 to have four or more assists based on a projection of 3.3 assists, which implies an expected value of 33% for this bet. If we used the adjusted line of Over 2.5 assists at -113 via FanDuel, our expected value would only be 17%.

Just another reason why you should always look at the alternate markets when shopping for player props.
