Jake LaRavia Over 10.5 points (+100) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Los Angeles Lakers forward Jake LaRavia gets a matchup against his former team when the Memphis Grizzlies come to town tonight. LaRavia has scored 11-plus points in four of his past six games.

This recent stretch coincides with Austin Reaves’ injury, but Rui Hachimura is also out for Friday’s game. With both players sidelined, LaRavia could be as high as the No. 3 option against a Memphis team that ranks 26th in 3-point attempts allowed and 10th in pace.

Dylan Harper Under 18.5 points + assists (-128) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Devin Vassell and Victor Wembanyama are out, but I still believe Dylan Harper’s upside is limited as long as guards De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle are playing. The market doesn’t seem to reflect that, as his points and assists combo line has climbed since closing at 16.5 last game.

Harper has only cleared this prop once in his past seven outings, averaging 6.1 points and 4.6 assists during that stretch. He’s only averaging 11.8 points and 3.8 assists this year, failing to clear this line in 17 of his 24 matchups.

Harper has shown plenty of promise in his debut campaign, but his role is capped while playing behind San Antonio’s top two guards. FanDuel is the lone shop to set this line at 18.5, while most of our other best sports betting apps sit at a less agreeable 17.5.

Carlton Carrington Over 9.5 points (-130) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Second-year guard Carlton “Bub” Carrington has earned a bigger offensive role this past month. Since Dec. 6, Carrington is averaging 15 points per game and has reached double figures in 10 of his 11 matchups.

With Kyshawn George out, I expect Carrington to still have a solid role with the Wizards. He’s averaging 10.3 field goal attempts across his past 11 outings. Now he gets a favorable matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, who rank 22nd in defensive rating.

Karl-Anthony Towns Under 35.5 points + rebounds (-116) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

A couple of nights ago, I recommended taking Under 37.5 points + rebounds for New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns against the Spurs. The line closed at 33.5, and Towns finished with 20 points and seven rebounds.

Despite a better matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, the market remains too high on Towns due to the Mitchell Robinson injury. The reality is, Towns has a 38.1% hit rate on this Over for the year. That number drops to 31.6% by removing the first two games of the year.

I project Towns to finish in the low 30s on Friday, so -120 at DraftKings has value to win $8.33 on a $10 wager.
