This would be a five-star play if I didn’t have to pay so much vig, but it’s worth noting that Doncic’s rebounds line is typically set at 7.5. Once again, the market expects bettors to take the Over, especially after Doncic grabbed 15 rebounds against the Mavs in the first meeting.

However, Anthony Davis didn’t play in that game and is equally motivated to send a message. Davis averaged 11.6 rebounds per game this season, so I don’t expect Doncic to have the same rebounding success in this matchup.

There is one final Under, but it follows a similar logic: I don’t expect Doncic to press as much about this matchup compared to how the market has reacted. The Lakers need this win more than Doncic needs revenge.

Doncic has recorded three turnovers or fewer in nine consecutive games. He has become more comfortable within this Los Angeles offense while occasionally delegating on-ball responsibilities. This -105 price tag presents a decent edge.
