The Miami Heat will be travelling to Boston to take on the NBA-best Celtics on Wednesday night. Here are our Heat vs. Celtics picks.

The Miami Heat (10-11) haven’t started the season like they would’ve hoped but are on a three-game winning streak as they travel into Boston to play the Celtics tonight and on Friday. Forward, Jimmy Butler and guard, Duncan Robinson are expected to be out for tonight’s game and are joined by a long list of players (including guard Tyler Herro) listed as day-to-day on the injury report.

The Boston Celtics (17-4) have been dominant for the first quarter of the season, holding the best record in the NBA and winning 13 of their last 14 games. Forward, Jayson Tatum is playing like a legitimate MVP candidate, and is joined by All-Star guard Jaylen Brown and a strong supporting cast.

Here are our Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics NBA picks for Wednesday (odds via Caesars Sportsbook, WynnBet, Draft Kings Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

After opening at -9.5 in favor of the Celtics, the odds have stayed there across nearly all the top sports books. Boston is getting the attention, with 59% of wagers currently on the Celtics.

Heat vs. Celtics Picks

  • ATS: Boston Celtics -9 (-110 via Caesars) ★★★★
  • Over/Under: Over 223.5 (-110 via Wynn) ★★★★★
  • Prop: Bam Adebayo Over 20.5 points (-115 via Draft Kings) ★★★★

Heat vs. Celtics ATS Pick

Celtics -9 (-110) ★★★★

The Heat have been decimated by injuries, and it may be even worse for them for tonight’s game. They currently have four players listed as out and eight players listed as day-to-day on their injury report.

While Butler is the big name, they also may be without Robinson, Herro and now Caleb Martin, who has scored over 20 points in his last three games.

As long as the Celtics don’t lose focus heading into the game, the difference in talent should show. They have the best offense in the NBA and may be facing a defense with new faces tonight. The spread is pretty unanimously at -9.5 in favor of the Celtics across the top sports books, but you can find them at -9 at Caesars right now.

Heat vs. Celtics O/U Pick

Over 223.5 (-110) ★★★★★

The best offense in the NBA is facing a team missing half of their rotation, so we may be in for a high-scoring night, at least from the Celtics. As good as the Celtics have been, they are tied for 14th in defensive rating so far this season, so the Heat may be able to put up their share of points as well.

The Celtics are 12-8-1 in favor of the Over so far this season, while the Heat are 11-10. You can find the most favorable odds at Wynn right now, so go there if you’re taking the Over.

Heat vs. Celtics Prop Pick

Bam Adebayo Over 20.5 (-115) ★★★★

Adebayo is going to be forced to put up a lot of shots for the Heat tonight considering all they'll be missing due to injury. In his last two games he has put up 38 and 32 points, and the Heat will be looking for a similar performance from him again tonight.

He has also averaged 20.5 points per game so far this season, so the Over/Under mark of 20.5 seems a bit low considering all the options the Heat are missing tonight. Take the Over in this one.
