Celtics vs. Cavaliers prop bet predictions

Jayson Tatum Over 15.5 rebounds + assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Somehow, Tatum still seems to receive flack for his playoff performances, even though he's been an all-around star thus far. Honestly, it's probably Mike Krzyzewski's fault for how badly Duke flamed out in Tatum's lone season there, so let's blame Coach K for this one.

Regardless, despite Tatum averaging less than his regular-season points total in the playoffs, he's proven to be impactful elsewhere, and Boston keeps winning. While he's coming off his highest scoring output of the postseason, his rebounding and passing were just as important in Game 3 against the Cavs. Tatum combined for 19 rebounds and assists and is averaging 16 combined in the series.

He's already gone Over 15.5 rebounds and assists in five of eight playoff games. The -111 odds imply a 52.61% probability this prop hits, according to our odds calculator, with a $10 bet paying out $19.01.

Donovan Mitchell Over 30.5 points ⭐⭐⭐

Do you understand how impressive Donovan Mitchell has been in the playoffs as of late to already be talked about as the No. 2 Cavalier of all-time? (This really happened on sports radio in Cleveland.) He's being mentioned in the same breath as Kyrie Irving, who hit arguably the most important shot in franchise history to bring the city a title.

A week and a half ago there were murmurs that Mitchell would be playing somewhere else next season; now he's trying to will the Cavs to a victory over the NBA's best team. He's topped 30 points twice in three games against the Celtics and seems to have had some of Lucky the Leprechaun's magic rub off on him.

Over his last five playoff games, Mitchell is averaging 36.8 points and carrying Cleveland on his back. These odds imply a win 52.38% probability and a $10 winning would cash $9.09.

Darius Garland Under 15.5 points ⭐⭐⭐

Mitchell's back might give out soon if he has to keep making up for how inconsistent Darius Garland has been in the playoffs. The 24-year-old former All-Star has moments where it looks like he thinks you get points for bricking the ball off the rim.

Garland's struggles, combined with him taking less shots as Mitchell takes on more, have led to him averaging just 14.3 points against Boston. He's scored fewer than 16 in each game against a Celtics team that ranked third in defensive rating this season (111.6). In 10 playoff games so far, Garland has scored Under 15.5 points eight times.

The -106 odds at FanDuel imply a 51.46% probability the Under hits with a $10 wager paying out $19.43 on a winning ticket.
