My Fire vs. Storm prediction includes Storm -2.5 (-110) and Emily Engstler Under 9.5 points (-102). It's unlikely Portland beats Seattle for a fourth straight meeting, and Engstler has attempted seven or fewer shots in five of her last seven games.

🏆 Who will win Fire vs. Storm?

I like the Storm to beat the Fire by five points today. Both teams were near the bottom of the WNBA championship odds for most of the season - Seattle has since been eliminated from playoff contention - so it's unlikely that Portland could dominate any team in a season series, even a team as thin on talent as Seattle. There's value on Storm ML (-142) at FanDuel, but I'm playing the spread instead at greater odds.

Score prediction: Storm 92, Fire 87

💰 Fire vs. Storm prediction & best bet

Storm -2.5 (-110)

Multiple things had to fall the Fire's way for them to win the last meeting Saturday.

Nyadiew Puoch - who averages 4.0 points per game on the season - hit a career-high four 3-pointers, and Jordan Harrison came off the bench for a career-high 13 points. It's unlikely the Fire will beat the Storm for a fourth straight meeting, which is part of the reason why Seattle is favored.

Carla Leite, who is questionable with a knee injury, also won't be at 100% if she plays. Storm -2.5 (-110) at FanDuel is the best line available among the top sports betting sites.

🔥 Best Fire vs. Storm player prop bet

Emily Engstler Under 9.5 points (-102)

Engstler has been playing a smaller role in the offense lately, and even Leite missing this game wouldn't make me want to bet her Over 9.5 points.

The Fire forward has attempted seven or fewer field goals in five of her last seven games and is coming off an eight-point performance last time out on 3-of-8 shooting from the field.

Engstler's median scoring output against the Storm this season is nine points. Her Under 9.5 points (-102) at FanDuel is the best line available among the top sports betting apps.
