If not for two timely wins against the reeling Dallas Wings last weekend, the Sky would be facing plenty of criticism. They started the season 0-4, giving up 91 or more points in all four contests.

Chicago held Dallas to 165 total points across two head-to-head meetings last weekend, but I’m skeptical that means the defensive issues have been solved. The Fever hung 93 on the Sky in the season opener on May 17.

Even without Clark, the Fever have enough offensive talent. They scored 85 in their recent win over the Washington Mystics. I expect Indiana to score enough to pull away from Chicago, covering this spread by a solid margin.

I project the Fever as 8-point favorites, making this spread playable at -5 or better.
