Today’s Mother’s Day MLB slate is loaded with great games, and I am here to break down Sunday Night Baseball with first pitch at 7:20 p.m. ET (Peacock) from Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, MO. The Detroit Tigers and Kansas City Royals play the rubber game of a three-game series. The starting pitching matchup is between Brenan Hanifee and Noah Cameron, with the Royals priced as -125 betting favorites.

My Tigers vs. Royals prediction backs the Tigers in a game where we should see runs aplenty. That pairs nicely with the best of my MLB picks of the Over in this game.  I’m backing a Royals slugger to go deep given Cameron's struggles at home.

🏆 Who will win Tigers vs. Royals?

The Detroit Tigers are in a strong spot tonight against the Kansas City Royals, especially with momentum trending in their favor offensively. Kansas City is sending Noah Cameron to the mound, and the Royals have dropped four of the last five games he has started, showing continued struggles to support him and close out games. Detroit’s lineup has been producing timely hits lately, and with the game pressure shifting onto a slumping Royals club, the Tigers have a solid opportunity to capitalize and come away with the win.

Score prediction: Tigers 7, Royals 3

💰 Tigers vs. Royals prediction & best bet

Tigers ML (+105)

The Detroit Tigers have a strong opportunity to beat the Kansas City Royals tonight thanks to their recent consistency at the plate and advantage in current form. Detroit has been getting production throughout the lineup, while Kansas City continues to struggle in games started by Noah Cameron, losing four of his last five outings.

The Tigers have also been playing with confidence offensively, creating pressure early in games and capitalizing on scoring chances. If Detroit can continue its aggressive approach against Cameron and force the Royals into another bullpen-heavy night, the Tigers should be in position to control the matchup and secure another victory tonight.

📡 SBR Edge: Fade Noah Cameron

I have said it many times so far, but I am a big fan of fading Noah Cameron. His stuff is extremely hittable, and we should say that in full effect tonight.

🔥 Best Tigers vs. Royals player prop bet

Dillon Dingler 2+ hits (+200)

Dillon Dingler is in a great position to record 2+ hits tonight against the Kansas City Royals because of the matchup and the way Detroit’s offense can produce. Dingler has shown the ability to drive the ball to all fields, and his aggressive approach early in counts can create problems for pitchers who struggle to consistently get ahead.

Kansas City starter Noah Cameron has watched the Royals lose four of his last five starts, with opposing hitters consistently finding opportunities to string together quality at-bats. Dingler should benefit from hitting in a lineup that continues to apply pressure and generate traffic on the bases. If he gets multiple plate appearances against Cameron before the bullpen settles in, the Tigers catcher has an excellent chance to collect at least two hits tonight.

💣 Tigers vs. Royals home run prediction

Spencer Torkelson to hit a home run (+520)

Spencer Torkelson has a great chance to hit a home run tonight against the Kansas City Royals because the matchup sets up well for his power profile. Torkelson thrives against pitchers who fall behind in counts, and Kansas City starter Noah Cameron has struggled to consistently limit hard contact in recent outings.

Detroit’s lineup has been applying pressure from top to bottom, which should give Torkelson opportunities to swing in favorable RBI situations. His raw power to all fields makes him a constant long-ball threat, and if Cameron leaves anything elevated over the plate, Torkelson has the ability to make the Royals pay with one swing tonight.

🚀 Tigers vs. Royals same-game parlay

I am all over the Tigers in several ways tonight, and with these correlating bets, it only makes sense to throw them all in a same game parlay.

💵 Tigers vs. Royals SGP picks

  • Tigers ML (+105)
  • Dillon Dingler 2+ hits (+200)
  • Spencer Torkelson to hit a home run (+520)

Best odds: +2063 via FanDuel (.1u -> 2.06u)
