We have a pretty underwhelming pitching matchup on tap for this one, so when I don't back either starter to be especially impressive, I side with the better offense.

This season, that title belongs to the Diamondbacks, who own one of the most dynamic offenses in all of baseball. They hit for average, they hit for power, and they can run wild on you. I think Arizona will be too much for San Diego at home tonight.

Once believed to be among the NL MVP favorites, Tatis has been really, really bad for a while. I know this because I thought I was a genius for drafting him with the fourth overall pick in my fantasy baseball draft, and it turns out that I'm actually a bit of an idiot.

However, despite hitting only .190 during the last two weeks, Tatis has managed to rack up five steals. Basically, any time he's reached first recently, he's made it his goal to get to second.

I anticipate more of the same tonight, though it'll certainly be a challenge against Gabriel Moreno. For a lot of other players, I'd stay away from that matchup. But I think Tatis is the kind of guy who gets even more amped for something like that, so let's fire him up to steal a base tonight against Moreno and the Diamondbacks.
