The Minnesota Twins enter this home affair against the Seattle Mariners as losers of three in a row, and they have the challenge of facing one of baseball's most underrated pitchers when this one gets underway at 7:40 p.m. ET (FS1) from Target Field.

Opposing Mariners right-hander Bryan Woo is Bailey Ober, who's failed to replicate his success from last season. Our Mariners vs. Twins prediction and odds look at whether Minnesota's bats can do enough to make up for Ober's potential shakiness.

The Twins will be in tough against Woo and the Mariners, but they've been significantly better at home this season than on the road. I don't think Ober will do a ton to help the cause - which is why I see this game going Over its total - but Byron Buxton and Co. should do enough damage to get Minnesota the win.

After a very strong campaign last year, Ober just doesn't have it this season.

He's not striking anyone out, he's giving up even more homers than he already did (an already alarming number, mind you), and his peripherals don't paint a picture of a pitcher ready to rebound. That's especially dangerous against MLB MVP odds contender Cal Raleigh, whom I featured in my best home run predictions today.

Ober will be lucky to make it through five tonight.
