The Mariners have yet to announce a starting pitcher for Game 1, but it could be right-hander Bryce Miller after Seattle was forced to use three different starters to close out Detroit in the ALDS. If Miller gets the nod, Santander should feel good, with four hits in 10 career at-bats, including a home run.
