Best Blue Jays vs. Dodgers Same-Game Parlay: SGP Picks for World Series Game 5
Last Updated: October 29, 2025 5:42 PM EDT • 3 minute read X Social Google News Link
My Blue Jays vs. Dodgers same-game parlay expects more of an offensive showcase during World Series Game 5.
With the series tied at 2-2, Los Angeles is a -200 favorite to win Wednesday’s matchup before heading back to Toronto. However, I prefer to target both lineups and fade each starting pitcher in a favorable offensive environment. First pitch is at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles (FOX).

🚀 Over 7.5 (-138) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
For the third straight day, I’m starting my World Series SGP with the Over on the full-game total. This line has actually climbed up to a flat eight since opening at 7.5, but I’m comfortable with the alternate total since this is a four-leg parlay.
There are many reasons to believe there will be runs scored in Game 5. It’s the third game in as many days, meaning bullpens are taxed. This is also a second look at both starting pitchers in this series, and the home plate umpire will be Alan Porter, whose games had an average of 9.59 runs scored this season.
🚀 Trey Yesavage Over 3.5 hits allowed (-133) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Dodgers will face Toronto rookie pitcher Trey Yesavage for the second time in six days. They should be much more familiar with his high release point from his 6-foot-4 frame. They scored two runs off four hits against Yesavage in Game 1.
More importantly, this will be Yesavage’s first road playoff start. And it comes on a 90 °F evening in Los Angeles, where the ball might carry at Dodger Stadium. That’s why Ballpark Pal’s model projects him to allow 2.78 runs on 4.34 hits.
DraftKings’ -133 offering on this hits prop is worth grabbing, as most of the best sports betting sites have set this Over at -150. Our Dustin Saracini has Yesavage and the Blue Jays keeping Game 5 close in his Blue Jays vs. Dodgers prediction.

🚀 Blake Snell Under 6.5 strikeouts (-104) ⭐⭐⭐
You know the drill by now: The Blue Jays had the lowest strikeout rate in the league during the regular season. Not chasing is their whole thing, which is why Dodgers lefty Blake Snell only recorded four strikeouts in Game 1.
Let’s bring it back to Porter, who will be calling balls and strikes behind the dish. He had a strike rate of 64% this year, leading to a strikeout-walk ratio of 2.8.
Without those borderline calls, I like Snell’s chances of finishing below his strikeouts prop in a game he could be pulled earlier than expected. Meanwhile, our Mike Spector is backing Snell to pick up the win in his Blue Jays vs. Dodgers player prop bets.
🚀 Max Muncy Over 0.5 walks (-105) ⭐⭐⭐
Even with a favorable umpire, Yesavage has struggled with his command early in his career. He’s walked three batters in each of his past three starts, which is why his walks prop has been set at 2.5.
I’d rather target a better price on a Los Angeles batter drawing a walk. Max Muncy is the safest bet, having drawn a walk in three straight contests and four of his past five. He also has the highest walk projection (0.87) in the game, per Ballpark Pal.
