Adell is impressively athletic yet maddeningly inconsistent, and he seemed destined to lose playing time whenever Mike Trout is healthy enough to play in the outfield. That is until he began an absolute heater we're going to ride today, especially amid a highly appealing matchup against the Orioles and their dreadful pitching.

Overall Adell is producing a much better season than a year ago, with his OPS jumping from .682 to .768. But it's the recent output that really catches your eye, as the outfielder has clubbed six home runs in June while slashing .273/.368/.818, leading to a double-take inducing 1.187 OPS.
