Scheffler's coming off a come-from-behind victory in the BMW Championship for his fifth win of the 2025 season. It marked his second straight PGA Tour season with at least five victories, and those wins included two major championships.
He now seeks a second straight FedEx Cup title at East Lake Golf Club but won't have the advantage of starting strokes after starting the season finale at 10-under each of the past three years.
Scheffler has gained an average of 2.07 strokes on the field per round across his 20 career rounds at East Lake. His accurate driver, elite iron play, and approach game make him a strong course fit for this venue.
