The Bulldogs’ defense struggled against the run last week, but the Auburn Tigers don’t have a passing attack. Even though the defense allowed 219 yards, 92 of them were to quarterback Payton Thorne, while running back Jarquez Hunter had just 59 yards on 19 carries.

Before last week, the Bulldogs weren’t allowing much of anything on the ground. Even in games that were closer than expected, most of the damage done to the defense was through the air. The Wildcats can’t fall behind if Davis is going to get the carries he needs to hit this Over. While they can win this game, the Under is the safe play.

This is another line that feels like a trap. Beck has thrown for 269 yards or more in every single game this season, and he has topped 300 yards in back-to-back weeks. The Wildcats’ rush defense has been fantastic this season. They’re allowing just 75.8 yards per game. However, most of that success has been because of a weak schedule and the fact that they’re always playing from ahead. 

Therefore, we turn our attention to the Wildcats’ secondary. They’ve been thrown at over and over this season, yet they’ve allowed just 221.4 passing yards per game. This could cause problems for Beck and force the Bulldogs to try to test the Wildcats’ defense for the first time this year.

With Daijun Edwards in the backfield, the Bulldogs will have success on the ground. And if they build up a lead, they will keep running as Beck sets a new season-low for passing yards.

Bowers has at least seven catches in three consecutive weeks. He has topped 100 yards in back-to-back games, combining for 278 yards. He’s gone for at least 78 in three of his five games.
