Ranking The Top 6 US Sportsbooks for the NFL MVP Award

When it comes to ranking the top sportsbook for the NFL MVP Award, there was one thing that I considered, which is the amount of value you are getting on both the favorites and the longshots. There's a wide variety from sportsbook to sportsbook in terms of the odds they offer, and that could make or break which operator you choose.

Here are my rankings of the best NFL betting sites on the NFL MVP Award.

6. PointsBet Sportsbook

PointsBet is the only sportsbook that you are going to find in this article where Mahomes is minus odds to win. Considering where we are in the season, and how close I believe this race is no one should be minus odds. They also don’t provide as much value on the long shots in comparison to other books.

5. Caesars Sportsbook

Caesars Sportsbook has the second lowest odds for Mahomes to win the award at +120. On top of that, they don’t offer much value on some of the long shots in comparison to other books. Joe Burrow, for example, is only at +2000 whereas most other books have him at +2500 or longer.

4. Barstool Sportsbook

This is where things start to get interesting, as each of the sportsbooks remaining all have Mahomes at +125 to win the award. The reason why I have Barstool Sportsbook in this spot is that the book is providing less value on both the lower and higher odds guys. If you go all the way down to the tenth-ranked player (Justin Herbert), you will find the odds at +6600. Some of the other sportsbooks have the tenth guy at as high as +10000.

3. FanDuel Sportsbook

It is tough to pick between the top three because they are so similar, but I’ve got FanDuel Sportsbook in the third spot. The reason is that they don’t give as good odds in that 8-12 range as the next couple of books. Although Brady isn’t quite in the conversation at this moment, he is +7500 on FanDuel and over +8000 on the other remaining books. Another example is Herbert who is +6000 on FanDuel and at least +6600 on the other remaining books.

2. DraftKings Sportsbook

The only reason why DraftKings isn’t the number one book is simply that they have Tua Tagovailoa at the shortest odds of all at +350. Other than that, I love the value on the long shots. Beyond Geno Smith in the eighth slot, DraftKings offers no one’s odds below +8000. Other books have odds as high as +5000 for their ninth spot. They also feature Tom Brady at +100000 to win the award.

1. BetMGM

I love the way BetMGM organized their current odds because they provide both value in the top slots as well as value in the lower slots. Most of the other books have Tua between +350 and +450, but BetMGM has him at +500. I also like how, knowing that the MVP award is essentially a quarterback award, their top-10 consists of solely QBs. Since 2013, every winner of the award has been a quarterback.
