Good old Stanny goes up against Berdych today. This is a good match-up for the Swiss as Wawrinka's return game has seemed to trouble the Czech. That showed in a dominant performance by Wawrinka over Berdych at Chennai early this year when he whipped him 6-4, 6-1. This week, Berdych has looked solid with easy wins over Kubot and Bellucci. Berdych's serve has been steady in those two matches, but not overpowering. If wawrinka can continue to rattle opponents with his return game and his serve holds up, he has the opportunity to grab the win today.

Wozniacki draws Azarenka today. Azarenka played an error riddled breakfest against Radwanska yesterday, but did fight off four match points for the win. Still, she was on court for a long time & didn't play all that well. Wozniacki has been in great form on this surface and should be able to wear down Azarenka with her consistency. Sharapova's 1st serve has been solid this week. It's the 2nd that has been shaky. Good thing she has gotten in plenty of the first. Peng always plays tough, but her serve is vulnerable. Sharapova has gotten better over the last two matches and it should be on her racket today if she serves well.

adam actually had some serious money coming in on him pre-match but unfortunately he lost. Even though the money was wrong here I have noticed line movement very often goes towards the winner in challengers whether it be because someone always knows something or fixes. I would imagine it is very easy for a syndicate to convince someone to throw a match when they offer more than they make in a year. He told me he barely makes enough for hotels,food, and equipment

Big thanks to wawa coming through. Whew, after the hit I took on Milos yesterday I was wetting the bed when Stan gave up those last four games in the first set. Then he goes down two in the third. Luckily he pulled it out. Berdych has a real problem with consistency, thankfully for my bankroll.

I always like Peng as an underdog, but particularly here where Sharapova still provides value fade material. At the start of the year she was all over the place and everyone was fading her. Now with a few decent wins she seems to be back in the good books... but not for me. She needs to show more consistency before i start betting the juice on her or throwing her in any parlays at this price.

Peng is on her way up, Sharapova is stuck in neutral and i'm not sure she knows where the clutch is.
