I'm still technically on maternity leave but still do some work from home when I have to. Just woke up a couple of hours ago - 9:30am here and my son decided to have a bit of a sleep in this morning which was lovely!

It's the same for me when LB posts soccer plays. Half the time I have to Google the damn names of the teams so I can figure out what country the league is in.

I honestly don't know. I've answered this a couple of times but I'll try to do it again: I started this thread thinking it was going to be a one day, maybe two, max type of thing. That's why the title refers to 'today' and sounds so wanky (I've asked the Mods to change it but they haven't yet

). I was losing track of the people I was PMing and emailing picks to and was starting to forget people accidentally so I figured I'd start a little thread just so they could all see my picks for the day at once. And it kind of snowballed from there.

I don't try to portray myself as a great, or even a good capper. I'm just someone who loves tennis and focuses on this sport the most to make money. People come in here, discuss their own plays and sometimes other sports as well and hopefully we all end up with a profit at the end of the day. That's also why I no longer post what I'm betting unless I'm directly asked although I'll usually refer to something as BIG or SMALL if it's different than one standard unit size. I don't want to feel guilty for someone betting outside of their means and unfortunately I've seen some people tail great cappers on the forum for money they couldn't afford and if the pick sadly lost, the capper took a lot of grief. I fear my skin isn't thick enough for that.

I just do my own thing, tend to avoid laying much chalk at all, ask everyone to keep it happy and civil in here and that's about it. There are plenty of great people in the tennis forum who keep records and are much more knowledgeable than myself I'm sure. As long as I make money at the end of the day/week/month, I'm ecstatic. And fortunately I do so it's all good. Best of luck with your plays!!

Thanks Davey! I've lost too much money backing that damn Ivanovic only to see her continue to crap out so I figured this time I'd take the plunge and lay chalk against her. I used to love her as a player though so hopefully she can find some form again. Although not too much since I really want to win my bet.

It's unreal how quickly those odds are dropping. The last time I checked here they were $1.77 and that was within a very short time frame. Either we're all on the same side of a winner or someone knows something we don't. Regardless, it's nice to be on the right side of falling odds and even better to see you posting in the tennis forum again!! Best of luck nulldah.
