Your banking on Nishikori beating Ferrer in 5 straight sets since the AO? Before the AO, there have been some tight 3 setters last year between these 2.
I'm actually leaning Ferrer on the ML. Revenge for the beatdown at the AO. Nishi didn't impress me against Anderson after the 1st set. This is one of Ferrer's favorite venues and he's loved here. He will have the spanish speaking crowd. I think Nishikori is being overvalued here. I bet Ferrer cherishes not playing Djokovic, Federer or Nadal in a final. He's no going to have many more opps to win a 500+ title not playing one of the big 3.Comment -

This is the 7th year that the WTA tour has stopped in Mexico for the Monterrey Open. The top seed has never won this tournament in its brief history and has only made the Final twice. The good news for this week’s top seed, Ana Ivanovic, is that she is the defending Champion. Ivanovic beat Jovana Jaksic 6-2, 6-1 in last year’s Final. Jaksic’s appearance in the title match marked the 5th time in six years that an unseeded player made the Final. That means expected the unexpected this week in Monterrey.
Last week’s Acapulco Champion Timea Bacsinszky comes in with the best form of any of the players entered this week. She’s made two Finals in three tournaments this year and is seeded 4th. Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova will be the other seed to track. She is a three time Champion at this tournament with a 15-0 mark in Monterrey, but is 0-3 to start the season.

Nothing is easy in WTA, especially for a chick without much success in main draws. Georges too inconsistent. She could roll or be lucky to win.Comment -
One thing you can guarantee with her is that if she is up just one break and serving for the set, she will make you sweat. I have never seen anyone lose the set as often as her when up serving for the set or in particular, the match.
