I think I would take the account suspensions as a positive development right now. Something is happening about this in there.

I don't mean to argue with you, just want to make my point. I understand that it seems like you may be paid either directly in indirectly by youwager, so you seem to wish to defend them.

I agree with you that the account suspensions may be a sign that they are investigating this matter.

However, I strongly disagree with you that them not paying the remaining balances at this moment is completely unacceptable and just causing more pain for the players.

I have had to wait over 2 months for my payouts since they closed my account. Not even including the missing money that we are disputing.

They emailed me to confirm my final 2K payout would be paid on November 22nd. There is no worry or concern from their side about this final payout, as I mentioned my account is fully verified, with passport/utility bills. And I've emailed to confirm that this payout should go to the same payout address that my previous payouts had been received at.

So for them to stall and now not pay me this payout in a timely manner, with no valid reason, I don't understand how anyone can justify or think this is a good thing.

I had also been on a 3x weekly BTC payment plan. Three months ago the payments slowed to 1 per week, then three weeks ago they stopped altogether. Customer service still tells me they are paying 3x per week and the last payment is scheduled for late November--I still have 33k outstanding.

I am not trying to get into trouble myself or cause any problems for this website.

But i really believe this should be on the main page of sportsbookreview.com on the sportsbook and industry news.

I'm only looking out for many other players that might of lost their payouts, and don't know what to do.

I was aware of this website for over 10 years, but only recently realized/started looking at the forum.

If I didn't come across fossilman's post, I wouldn't of known what to do, or had any chance of getting this resolved, as youwager told me that they aren't doing anything about it.

I really think that other people should be aware that there seems to be a serious problem with youwager, and be aware that maybe they can get help.

This is very important sportsbook industry news, and should be displayed for everyone to see. I'm not trying to get a sponsor in trouble, although I do think they have acted completely disgracefully and unfairly.

I'm just trying to look out for other players that could be missing money.

I think the only proper thing to do would be to put this on the front page of the main website, and not just here in the forum to help others.

Other than a small beef about their horrendous new bonus wheel and how I got screwed out of a bonus, I've never had a problem with YouWager, and always gotten paid very fast; however, I'm seeing more and more things posted and small complaints that is starting to lead me to believe there is some smoldering that could be developing into a small fire..... keep those balances low would be my advice

At this point, it's pretty clear that this wasn't really a "hack" so much as it is some kind of in-house Youwager scam or employee theft. Shocking that rather than apologize for their error and pay out the customer and admit their mistake, Youwager are doubling down and confiscating funds. Hopefully SBR will get them to come to their senses.

Anyone have more info on the change in ownership that was mentioned? It seems clear that whoever is running that joint has no control over what's going on there right now with four different people in this thread having issues, along with another thread on the front page where they are confiscating much more funds from a different player. There are tons of complaints about customer service over the years from my searches, but certainly nothing like this. So it does seem plausible that some change of ownership and or management has taken place.

Customer support has confirmed that this was the address that the withdrawals were sent to. Maggie is the one who gave me that address weeks ago, and Luke repeated that address back to me over the phone when I asked today, confirming it's the same address.

They've closed my account now and confiscated the remaining two pending payments totaling $3149 in addition to the already missing $8000.

So let me get this straight--they same employee stole money to the same bitcoin address from both yours, mine, and apparently at least one other person's account and they now say that is evidence that WE committed fraud so they are confiscating my funds (and apparently yours?!? This is insane.

Fossilman was that the bitcoin address that your stolen funds were sent to? Or is there someone else out there that we don't know about yet?

The situation just gets worse. Because of my complaints about the 3 missing payouts, they are now not paying me/delaying paying me my final payout.

When i initially quoted that i requested 14 btc payouts all to the same address. at that current point in time, 10 were paid to the correct address, 3 were paid to an incorrect address, and the final one was waiting to be paid to me this week. I verified with them and have email proof/confirmation making sure that they would send this final payout to the correct address.

The payout didn't get paid today, and i called up to find out why, and they informed me that, my final payout is "under review" and nothing more will be paid to me at this point in time becuase of my complaints about previous missing payouts.

I asked them what I can do about this, they said nothing.

I asked them how long it may take for their review to take. They said they can't give a timeframe.

So because of my complaints about that they paid 3 x $2k to an incorrect address. They are now stalling and not even paying me my final 2k payout.

PS I have completely verified my account: Sent in my passport with me holding it, sent in utitlity bills. I have emailed and confirmed the correct btc address to be used to pay me.

Here is the email from Luke saying that my final payouts would be paid on the 21st and 22nd of November. I received my payout on the 21st of November, but because of my complaints about the previous missing payouts they are not paying me my final 2K, without any valid reason.

I can tell you that the address used for the remaining two BTC POs for $2000 start with 36FEB as we could confirm on the conversation we just had.
About the other you said you didn’t recognize start with 3DUnUSdZYHZKNPio6F3234 as you can see in the picture below.

I can’t see the rest of the address into the system. We never had this “issue” before (somebody saying that didn’t received his BTC PO).

When you look up that address, you can see that there were 14 payments received into that address. I can see my 3 x $2k sent there.

This same thing happened to me for $8000 on Betpop starting the middle of October. I've spoken with support a dozen frustrating times, and have filed a complaint here at SBR with a detailed timeline over the past month. This is absolutely ridiculous. Supervisor Maggie says "nothing like this has ever happened before." Clearly it's happening, NOW, to a number of different people, and they are aware of it but they are doing nothing about it. Someone inside that company is stealing money.

Briefly, this is what happened to me:

10/10 - I tried to log in but couldn't. I called and talked to supervisor Maggie and was told my account was suspended but that she would give me access back to my account for 30 minutes to request the withdrawals and to call back and give her the codes. I requested 18 withdrawals (17 for $1000 each and one for the remainder) all to the same btc address. I called back and asked for Maggie, but was told she was in an interview, but the woman on the phone told me she could take the codes.

10/14 - I noticed 8 more emails with payout confirmation codes (that I didn't request) despite my account being suspended and not being able to log in. I called and talked to a woman and told her I didn't request the codes, asked her what happened and she told me "no problem, some of the withdrawals just got canceled and re-requested I just needed to give her the new codes." I thought Maggie might have canceled some of them because when I called back I hadn't talked to her(?) on the 10th. I gave the woman the codes.

At the beginning of November I started to realize 2 of my withdrawals hand't arrived as expected, and once again I called support. I again talked to Maggie and was told that the withdrawals had been sent and it wasn't her problem. After a long back and forth I told her the first productive thing we need to do is to cancel the pending withdrawals and re-requested them to a new address, to mitigate any future loss of funds. She then gave me access back to my account so that I could cancel the withdrawals and request new ones while she was on the phone, and she told me this time I could request them for $2000 each. At this point I realized that 8 withdrawals were actually missing instead of the two. Because despite having a stated policy of three withdrawals per 7 days, they sent withdrawals every day (8 to the fraudulent address on unsuspecting days). They even sent two on the same day once.

Someone is stealing money there and they are doing nothing about it. They know it's happening and accuse the customer. I've wasted 10 hours of my life on phone calls with them. How can this book be rated so well here when they are either blatantly stealing money or are clearly aware of an employee stealing and yet doing nothing about it, including most egregiously not paying their customers for the stolen funds?

I was so glad that you posted, i'm worried this might of happened to a lot more people, and they just haven't spoken up. I didn't even know where to try and get help from, but then when reading your story, i'm in the exact same situation

I emailed SBR just yesterday, but haven't heard back from them yet.

YouWager's customer service is so aggressive, and unhelpful, they don't seem to care that i didn't recieve my payouts, and it takes multiple emails back and forth to them to finally get any information. And their payout department doesn't even seem to know that much about bitcoins. The guy making the payouts Luke said to me he wasn't even aware that it makes a difference between capital letters and non capitals in btc addresses. Another lady said that you can only recieve one payout to each address, so for my 14 payouts, i should of provided 14 different addresses.

I have clearly emailed them saying that I requested all 14 payouts within a 5 minute period all to the same address, and 3 haven't been received. They don't respond back. On the phone they accuse me of possibly putting in a different address for those 3 payouts, and get aggressive and say they don't have time to discuss the matter.

The payouts started arriving, but by the end i realised, 3 payouts for 2k each were missing.

I contacted customer service, and they eventually tracked down the payout addresses, and confirmed that 3 of the payouts were sent to a different payout address.

I had no access to my account, after requesting all my payouts, as they locked the account again.

My missing payouts occured nearly exactly the same time as yours. One on the 20th October, one on the 22nd of octber, and one on the 1st november are all missing and were paid to a different address.

Also the exact same thing happened. 2 payouts were sent on the same day, like yours, but one to the wrong address.

The payout supervisor isn't helpful at all, and i don't know what to do.

Regarding the bitcoin address, the one you provided is different from the one they gave me. But the one that they gave me (the address of the stranger who stole my bitcoins) also starts with a 3. Your story is almost identical to mine and this is not looking good for youwager.

I really hope SBR will comment on this soon. There is also another thread posted today about Youwager confiscating $77k from a player. I'm freaking out right now and wish I never deposited with these guys.

These sound like inside jobs. For those who don't know, here's how payouts normally work at YouWager:

1. you can request a BTC cashout online. The max for me was $1K (major red flag IMO). I think I read $2K in this thread. You enter your address.

2. Youwager emails you a confirmation code

3. You call customer service and let them know you have a confirmation code for a BTC payout. Going off memory, they ask for your username and password at the beginning of the call

4. The CS rep does something and the payout is approved

So this can only be an inside job. Whether it's a rogue employee(s) or a broke youwager targetting "sharps" is the only real question.

How does a book that takes $10K bets but has a $1-2K withdrawal limit have an A rating? Something stinks at youwager.

Also i'm thinking since they maybe do the payouts in batches, maybe when they were doing payouts, they mistakenly sent the payouts to another customer. And it would be rare to find a customer that would be honest and inform youwager that they got paid twice by accident.

So maybe our funds got paid to someone, by a messup in the payout department at the time of processing.

So, if you made public comments denouncing them, they may have been behind stealing your funds. Just a thought. Most likely, however, you really were hacked by a North Korean somehow or a Nigerian at an internet cafe. He just bought himself a new Hummer in America with that money.

I can't tell if this is meant to be a joke or not, but it's pretty far-fetched that some Korean or Nigerian would even know that Youwager exists, much less would somehow be able to obtain all the necessary info. I mean, you could hack username and password, but my email was not hacked. You would need to hack that as well. And how would a hacker even know what the phone number on the account is? At Youwager you must confirm payouts with a code, and you must call from the registered telephone number. So that excludes all your Koreans and Nigerians right there.

The whole thing makes no sense. The only people that would have access to this info would be Youwager employees themselves. And, even if somehow, somebody did get my phone number, email address, and managed to change the payouts...even then, how did they convince a Youwager employee to send two withdrawals in a single day, two days in a row? That alone tells me it was someone who had control of the payouts going out.

Want to do a fun experiment? Call any sportsbook, anywhere, and ask them to send you more payouts than their official policy allows, and see what they say.

Three weeks ago Youwager closed my account. First they delayed my bets by 15 seconds so they could move the line and offer me a worse price. Then finally they said they didn't want my action at all. I was up on them a good amount.

I couldn't even log in. I had to call and they explained to me they closed the account. They would open it for a few minutes for me to request my remaining funds. On October 23, I requested 8 withdrawals for a total of $17,335. They were supposed to send 3 withdrawals per 7 days. Just like my last withdrawals that I had requested there.

The first four payouts came, as expected. Four more to come. The next one should have been received today, November 13 (yesterday technically). It still hadn't arrived by the end of the day and I contacted live chat and "Cindy" told me, much to my surprise, they already sent them all! Cindy, we're going to have a problem.

I received 4 of the 8 withdrawals. Cindy gave me details of the other withdrawals that were sent. The dates and BTC address. The other 4 were sent to a different BTC address which is not mine. Youwager sent two withdrawals on October 24 and two on October 25. Of those, only one came to my own BTC address.

It doesn't add up. Somehow the address for some of the payouts was changed. Even though I was only given access to my account for 10 minutes to request those withdrawals. I had to confirm the payout codes calling from my registered phone number. And somehow, somebody got Youwager to send 4 payouts in 2 days, when their policy is to send 3 payouts in 7 days.

I have no idea how this happened. A supervisor is supposed to call me tomorrow. I found one similar case at another forum, but for a much smaller amount, and it was two years ago. Does anyone else know about this happening at Youwager? Live chat just asks for your username and password, so it doesn't feel like the most secure book.

I'd be curious to know if they're like Bodog and PAY YOU OUT, which they ALWAYS do, then boot you......Or we're booting you out AAAAND, we're keeping your funds and not paying cuz of some stupid TOS loophole. I'll never forget an experience I had with them about a decade ago.
They said I cannot wager anymore and held my funds (dont rememebr how much maybe few k?). I spoke to someone and they claimed I was part of a betting syndicate that moves in unison placing team bets in New Jersey ( I have never lived anywhere but California and never been to New Jersey). I spoke to a manager and we ended on ok terms I told them I can send any proof they like. Anyways got the funds and GTF outta there. Not only paranoid they are delusional too.
