Okay, but what I mean is, at some point the SBR case manager must have told him to follow through with the call first, right? I assume this is the case because, if that request wan't made, then how could Quarius possibly know that's what the SBR case manager was waiting on? Meanwhile, it appears Quarius is saying that request from the SBR case manager never happened. These are the breakdowns which are so frustrating to follow because I want to believe both of you. And yes, he's a little salty now, but if there truly was a communication problem, I think we all would understand why he feels that way.
Maybe you're right - that it is too late, and this relationship is broken beyond repair. I just wish things like this could be sorted out earlier in the process. I hate seeing this. His case sounded legitimate, and if so, the big sportsbook got away with another shady move over one of its customers.

How does this miscommunication happen? SBR says “We asked player to do X and he didn’t.” Player says “SBR never asked me to do that.”
Is it a breakdown between player and case agent? Case agent and mod? So frustrating to not know what’s going on. Player seems sincere. It appears SBR wants to help. What’s the rub?Quarius,
It sounds like there is a phone number you need to call to provide some info and you will be paid. This sounds pretty reasonable. Just get this number from SBR or Opti and call them and let us know what happens.
I want you to get paid and so does everyone else on this thread. It sounds like if you put out a little more effort you will get your money.
However, if you aren't even willing to make a phone call then I have no sympathy for you.
He spoke about it himself in the original thread.
It sounds like his chance at that route has expired now though, based on how he says Youwager are treating him (if true...).
I really do not want to entertain/help this guy any more. As you can see above, it's a constant smear on SBR he goes for and we put up with it for several pages until it became obvious he was not going to make the call needed to move forward. How the hell is it SBRs fault he is suspicious and needs to answer some questions?! And why does anyone even want us to try and tell them to stop investigating him.Last edited by Optional; 10-19-20, 01:55 PM.Leave a comment:

Yes I did think you were playing some game.
Pages with paragraphs full of crap like this. And when you started turning into an SBR is the bad guy thing... you were done here.
You just had to call the security guy they wanted you to speak to.
You refused.

You are out of line.
The book asked you to call in to speak to a specific manager.
I asked if you had called and you ignored me and kept obfuscating.
I asked again when you kept complaining and you said you kept emailing instead as you "did not care to speak to them on the phone again".
YOU MADE YOUR OWN BED BY REFUSING TO PARTICIPATE and then your thread turned into people smearing SBR for not just forcing Youwager to pay you anyway. You don't get to play those games here.
Don't come at me or SBR again like this and make me explain for people what happened again. You made your own choice and you can cry about it somewhere else now.
Just for the record I already did call before and spoke with a manager about this and he didn't budge or wouldn't budge about this money, hes stuck on only giving me $200. Not to mention I was treated by him like I'm some stupid kid or something and he was so rude I can't even begin to describe.
So tell me Optional since its not your money that is being taken here what do I do? According to you I'm crying, which I'm not. The only thing I have been doing is telling my story to players who ask about this book so they don't have what happened to me to happen to them. I actually already wrote the money off as a loss because I don't feel like I'm even getting my $1000 back. I don't see how this is crying.
Truthfully so far from what you are saying, you make it sound like I did something wrong but there has been nothing shown upto this point that I even did anything wrong with this book and I'm certain nothing will either, they just straight up stole me balance because they could and without even looking into it further your trying to make me to be the bad player here.
But since I'm pretty busy with my normal life I will check in periodically to see how things are here at SBR. Funny how this is my first legitimate complaint here in the 9 years I've been with SBR and I'm even getting crap from a mod, I think I made a small payout complaint years ago when I first started playing with Betonline cause they were taking long to pay me but it was resolved easily when SBR helped me. But now that I have an actual case you wan't to just turn a cold shoulder on me and think I'm playing some kind of game. Not sure in the thread where the games you say I did but I think I handled myself properly and never was out of line. Thanks for the help though.Leave a comment:

Yeah are you so sure about that because that guy Optional said so, when he didn't even review anything about my issue? All he did was make some reason that had nothing to do with me because of some other poster in order to close the thread so they could silence me I guess. Then at the end of the thread he said to contact him if I wanted the tread reopened, I did that and asked him to please open the thread back up because thats what he said. The response I got was no can't do that and then he goes dark not responding to any more of the pms I send him.
You so sure SBR will or would have helped me, when I can't even get a hold of the guy who is even dealing with my complaint, I must have sent him 15 separate emails and not one damn response back to even say "hey we are working on it".
Oh you really think if I talk to the book it will change anything? I think not, I have already tried numerous times threw email to get them to talk to different people in charge to see if they can work something out with me but all I get is to call for a stinking $200. So where does that leave me? With absolutely nothing. They won't even work with me to give me my original $1000 back.
The whole calling thing this guy Optional said was just his opinion or misread of something that was said along the way from the original thread. From the way he was talking he didn't even talk to the guy who is dealing with the complaint or he doesn't even know one thing about the complaint.

I see where he is getting this whole calling thing from. It's not to call and talk to them its only to call and get paid the $200. I remember saying I didn't want to call and settle for only $200 which is what this book wants to only give me. What Optional doesn't realize is that these people said I'm only getting $200, I think the exact words is "its a final decision". They don't want me to call to talk to them, its way past any of that.Leave a comment:

If I remember correctly, SBR didn't take the case any further because they told you that YouWager wanted to talk to you first. You said that you didn't care to talk to them again, which is certainly your right, but it put a stop to the process. I still don't understand why you took that approach. Take the phone call, remove the blockage, and allow SBR to work with YouWager.

That being said, 2k every 10 days is unacceptable from an A rated book.Leave a comment:

They stiffed me because I took a bonus at both sister shops, when the reps told me this was okay before I even did it. All they wanted to pay me was $200 out of $2400, I told them they could keep the $200 if it means that much to them. SBR wouldn't help me either basically just avoided my emails.Leave a comment:

I disagree. Slow paying, while not as bad as stiffing, is still an awful offense. Especially when it’s inconsistent with stated policies.
If SBR can’t get my limit raised, YouWager is going to get a 5 month interest free loan on my money. In the meantime, I have to eat all of the counterparty risk of them going under, or being shut down for one reason or another. It’s absolutely unacceptable.Leave a comment:

Yes that is an issue with them. Some people have 2k per 10 days and others 10k per 7 days. Bizarre.

What’s weird is I’m not promo banned or limited in any way. They let me bet $5k on a football side just a few days ago. And I’m not sharp enough to be getting CLV or even beating books long term, so it’s not like I’m a threat to them.Leave a comment:

YouWager: $2k withdrawal every 10 days. Are you kidding?!
I signed up for YouWager a few months back, thinking that the site was reputable after having read feedback here. I ran my account up quite a bit after busting about $15k worth of deposits.
Got ready for my payout this week (3 more days until the thirty day hold is over) and the cashier says they allow one $2k payout every 10 days. That’s madness. This place will let you bet $10k on an NFL side and $10k on a playoff baseball money line, but if you win, it takes 2 months to get that win off and another 2 to get your principal.
Their site, as I write this, says they give three $2k withdrawals every seven days. Here’s a version I archived at the Wayback Machine in case they see this and change it: https://web.archive.org/web/20201011152015/https://www.youwager.lv/help/faq.php
I can understand payout restrictions in March or April when we were dealing with COVID, but we’re now 5 weeks into football season after a 60 game baseball season and a full basketball playoffs. There is zero reason to be slow paying.
These guys are either completely broke or are scammers. But they certainly aren’t an “A” Sportsbook. That rating needs to change ASAP.
(Yes, I filed a complaint with SBR and I’m confident they’re gonna try to handle it, but I thought it was important to post publicly also for all to hear)Leave a comment:

It's upsetting to me that this hasn't been resolved. It certainly sounds from your OP that you were taken advantage of.
However, I know you didn't WANT to talk to the book's management again. But if SBR is saying that that is the next step they require from you in order to proceed, why wouldn't you just do it? If that gets you nowhere, you've now fulfilled their request and can see if SBR will then take it forward for you. I think you need to understand that SBR has limits on what they can demand from a sportsbook. If they are saying that they want to talk to you, who is SBR to disagree? Don't let yourself be the kink in the hose. Jump through the hoops even if it feels futile. Worst case, you get more information from YouWager during that conversation which you can share with SBR and this community to help bolster your case.
Seems like you don’t like or want to take the advice you were given.
Hence this concerns me of the validity of your claim.
I hope you contact them again and try to handle this rather than just give up.Leave a comment:

Please don't use Youwager they stole my balance for some silly rule, this has been going on since June. I also put in a compliant here, got one response then never heard back from the guy from SBR and he never responds to the emails. I made a thread about it then out of nowhere the moderator closes it for someone else saying some he didn't like in it, then I asked him to open it back he said no. Here's the link to the thread and you decide if you want to risk your money at a place that pulls this kind of stuff, only book to ever do this to me. https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...-winnings.html
