I had literally the same case with BABIBET.comThey stole 5,550 euros from me with fake bets. What did you take in your case and are there any results?Originally posted by gaukusI got scammed by 18bet in December with fake bets:
Short summary of the scam back then as a reminder:

Just about two weeks ago i withdrew a four-digit sum without any issues.
Unfortunately I deposited another sum of 2727€ on December 12 although I should have known better.
I had a pending withdrawal of 11448€.
I had literally the same case with BABIBET.comThey stole 5,550 euros from me with fake bets. What did you take in your case and are there any results?
The pending withdrawal was cancelled and 11388€ was lost with 5 fake bets.
Really kind of them to leave 60€ in my account.
I DID NOT DO THAT! WE ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!
The perfidious thing is they did it with bets exactlly fitting my betting pattern probably in order to say: look this is just a gambling addict who cancelled the withdrawal himself and lost his money.
Of course 18bet refused to take any responsibilty and only advised me to take better care of my password.
Meanwhile I waited for SBR to take action on this case, but I now got word from SBR that they are not able to do anything regarding my and other similar cases.
I guess the only way to get money back is via lawyers? That is why I wanted to ask if anyone of the countless 18bet victims was meanwhile able to get the scammed money back through a hired law firm?Leave a comment:

I have an update and good news to anyone who has ever had their funds confiscated from 18bet due to duplicate IP addresses used. I had $37,000 seized back in February due to this bonus claim. I brought this to the ADR who sided completely with me and told 18bet to return my funds however they only returned 5000 euros which is the maximum amount they were binded to. I then got lawyers involved (Green Table Legal) who wrote them a letter saying we're going to court and also contacted MGA. MGA finally listened and directed 18bet to release the rest of my funds which I received today.Originally posted by BetBothSidesHas there been any positive outcomes for anyone?
I had my account abruptly closed yesterday with no explanation that had a $42,000 balance. That's not a typo. I ran my account from $2,000 to $42,000 in 3 days playing live dealer blackjack.
They have not responded to any emails/chats on this matter so far.
While I still to this day contend that I did not use a multiple IP the key argument was that they did not have anything in their terms and conditions (at the time) about using multiple IP addresses as there's many valid reasons one may have a shared one (library, coffee shop, VPN, etc). 18bet have since updated their rules in June to account for the IP address however anyone who had their money confiscated for this reason before then should be subject to their older rules and have their money returned. They likely even cited their old rules in email conversations with you when they seized the money which does not include mention if IP addresses.
I strongly suggest you contact the ADR (Pardee Consulta) who will likely side in your favor if you use the same argument.
Good luck!Leave a comment:

Maltese authorities are corruptOriginally posted by GrumsiSo why don't you just gather money for one victim (I suggest an original poster of this thread) to go through a lawsuit and see the results? If enough of you will unite you can at least see how it will all end if one of you go through a lawsuit. Please start suing them and post results here, so we can get some satisfaction for everyone who read this traumatizing crime story. Thank you.Leave a comment:

I nominate 18bet as the biggest offshore gambling scam company on earth.this bulgarians are con artist.they now started with new sites like select.bet and sportempire it seems like exposing their scams hurt their older site 18bet.Leave a comment:

From 18bet's website:
8.3 If the client believes that his complaint has not been handled satisfactorily and would like to appeal against Shark 77 Limited’s handling of the complaint, he may refer the dispute to the Designated Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity (also referred to as ‘the ADR’). Shark 77 Limited has chosen Pardee Consulta as the ADR entity to whom disputes can normally be referred to.
Pardee are their ADR.
Others have said that Pardee didnt reply to them.
I will write them an email and make it shorter like @Optional suggested.Leave a comment:

I got a reply back from madre:
Dear [Hidden]
We would be delighted to arbitrate the case you submitted. Unfortunately, the Maltese Alternative Dispute Resolution Entity (MADRE) has no authority to settle this claim, unless the casino operator submits to our dispute resolution services.
MADRE is a registered alternative dispute resolution body which provides services free of charge to consumers based on a contractual arrangement with the subscribing operators. Shark77 has not contracted our services and we are unfortunately not able to settle claims against this operator.
We have informed Shark77 about your case and would gladly accept your case provided that the Operator subjects to our jurisdiction. We will keep you informed about Shark77’s response.
In the meantime you can raise the matter with the relevant regulatory authority to ensure the Shark77 is registered with an authorised alternative dispute resolution body (for example MADRE), which operators are legally obliged to do under applicable regulatory requirements. However, only the regulator can enforce this obligation.
Best regards,

There is a conversation I had 2018 and after that two skrill withdrawals with success during the same year but 2019 couldn´t get anything any more because of the false accusation about multiple accounts. Instead of paying me my account was closed without even deposit refunded.
Here I had an other conversation regarding my accounts after the account closure confirming I still had not had an other account and there you can see the accusation e-mail as well. I used an other nick name as criminal operators like 18bet tend to ignore when seeing customers with certain names contacting them. This conversation anyway told the truth again.Leave a comment:

Thanks for the tips man.
Reading what you wrote makes complete sense, I wish I would have thought about that when I was writing that complaint.
I'll keep that in mind for the next one, I guess I shouldn't resubmit a more condensed, less whiny one to Madre now because that will just waste their time even more.Leave a comment:

Hi,I have an on-going case with 18Bet (https://www.18bet.com/) and I hope that you can help me reclaim the 6,600 Euros taken from my account.
I have been a registered user since December 2018 and have a fully verified account.
My account username is yhai91.
I had a pending withdrawal, which had been pending since 04/07/2019On 06/07/19 I had 3 pending bets, 2 on Nigeria vs Cameroon (which both won) and a bet on Mali vs Ivory Coast which was yet to have settled.
When I woke up in this morning (07/07/19) to check my balance I should have seen a:Balance of 3,542.82 EurosPending Withdrawal of 3,209 EurosAnd a Pending bet of 502 EurosTotalling 7,253.82 Euros.
However, my balance was 151.82 Euros, my pending withdrawal had been cancelled and 6 losing bets each of 1100 Euros has been added to my account.
I contacted 18Bet via live chat to get more information about this and to report the fraudulent bets placed.
The live chat agent responded saying that they can’t see anything wrong with the bets and that there was nothing off about the bets.
I asked the live chat agent if I could see the IP address information from when the bets were placed, but he didn’t have access to that information, so it’s very hard to see how he was able to say that there was nothing off about the bets.
He advised me to contact their Anti-Fraud team for further help. (csd@18bet.com)
However, they never replied to my email.
Another point to note is that the fraudulent bets in no shape or form match my betting history for these reasons:
1) I rarely place bets over 1000 Euros.
2) I never place equally sized bets.
3) I never bet on the same selection in one event multiple times.
4) I never place bets on over/under markets less than half a day before the event start, however these were placed within an hour of the match start.
To add more information to this, I am not the only person that this has happened to recently. I made a thread on SBA forum and found many others that have fallen victim to this:
https://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/sportsbooks-industry/3553554-18bet-6600-euros-losing-bets-added-my-account-3207-withdrawal-cancelled.html
All of the other players that this has happened to have this in common:
1) A pending withdrawal was cancelled.
2) A series of losing bets were placed on their accounts over a short space of time after the withdrawal was cancelled.
3) The series of losing bets were either equally sized bets or a single losing bet.
4) The losing bets wiped out the full balance or almost fully wiped it out.
5) The bets don’t match the players’ previous betting history.I explained all of this in a complaint to MGA and asked them for IP login data from 18 Bet and a clear explanation or proof to back up their claims.
However, MGA ignored all requests for data or proof and simply replied back with the same reasons (almost copy and paste) as 18Bet replied back to me via live chat.
MGA try to say that my password was stolen, so it was my fault for not keeping the password safe; however they also say that there were no abnormalities with my account, meaning that there was no change in IP addresses or differences in betting histories, so this explanation clearly can’t be the case.
If my password was stolen, the IP address of the person placing the bets would be different, so there would be an abnormality.
The other option is that the person was either in my house and using my computer or he had vpn’d into my router and used my network, however this function is not available on my router.
Since my case has been closed by MGA there has been several other people which have fallen victim to this also.
Most notably, the fraudulent losing bets that was placed on a player's account which looks like they were manually inserted incorrectly.
Both fraudulent bets were apparently placed on the same day but were dated:
16/06/2019 and 16/09/2016, which clearly shows human error in manually inputting these fake bets.
I know that other people’s cases have no impact on my case, but I thought it might be worthwhile mentioning because it shows that the exact same thing has happened to a large amount of people all by the same firm and all around the same time.
This cannot be a coincidence and should help to solidify my claims.
Thanks again.
Just a general comment for everyone here.
If you do not receive replies from regulators and ODR services.
Try not to make your submissions this long. Leave out anything pointless like "Next day I woke up in the morning and logged into the book".
Don't spend time telling them details of other cases you have read about.
You can give them a million details like these once you get them talking. If any of it is needed at all.
A long submission with a barrage of words, amateur detective info, and theories of your own are simply showing no respect for the time of the person who needs to vet these submissions before they get looked at.
Condense all this down in two sentences of less than a couple of hundred words total and I bet you start getting responses more often than not.
Leave them room for them to tell you what they think or what they know about the history first. Even when I feel like I know exactly what has happened, I try to leave an open question that they will 1) want to answer and 2) is very easy to answer.
And last tip... after you have wasted their time with your thesis, don't include a reason almost begging for them to treat your complaint as a waste of time "MGA try to say that my password was stolen, so it was my fault for not keeping the password safe".Leave a comment:

I can't think of anything else we can do, apart from resubmitting the complaints to MGA, its might make sense for everyone that can and who were scammed by this, to submit their re-complaints to MGA on the same day, to show how many times this has happened to different players on the same group of sites.Leave a comment:
