Anytime you see fractions that aren’t .5 it essentially means you split your bet into 2 wagers. If you bet $10 on Arg -1.25, that means $5 is on Arg -1 and $5 is on Arg -1.5. In this case if Arg wins by exactly 1 you push with $5 and lose the other $5.
Arg -1.75 would be a $5 bet on Arg -1.5 and $5 bet on Arg -2, which means essentially they would have to win by 3 goals to win both wagers (winning by 2 goals would be a win for first $5 -1.5 and a push on the 2nd $5 at -2).
Hope this makes sense and is somewhat helpful my friend!
I'm new to soccer handicaps, what is the difference between Arg -1.25 (+111), Arg -1.5 (+143), Arg -1.75 (+185)?
