Sitting today out. Cup matches are sometimes very hard to predict based on the differing lineups. I'm always an OVER guy, so my lean would be to it. United has been real hard to stop no matter where and who they play. Expect City to field a strong lineup to try and get a lead heading into the 2nd leg. This either ends 1-1 IMO or will get over fairly easily.

Yeah. It's easy to push yourself too much to in a lot of sports. Trying to stick to solid soccer plays which have mainly come on the weekends lately, plus tennis, plus basketball!

I've only been watching one team in France for the past six weeks and it's Lille. This team has been a wrecking crew of offense with seven straight matches where they have scored 3 or more goals. In all competitions, stretch that out to 9 of the last 10. On the road, Lille has scored 2 or more in 5 of their last 6. Sochaux certainly isn't a scoring machine, having been blanked in 3 of their last 5 - but all those were on the road. At home, they have tallied a goal in all 10 of their home matches this season. They do have 6 clean sheets at home, but the majority of those have been against some of the league's lowest scoring clubs. Lille has been scoring against every club and I don't see that stopping here. Will wait to see if I can find a flat 2 goal line at a little higher chalk just in case because I think that total would be a push at the very, very worst.

well..good luck on the over..i just went lille .5 since they are just ****in great atm. Sochaux's been a lot of 2 goals or less games. Since like november i believe. I hate french league, but lille is a good team to watch.

I'm still holding to see if I can find a flat line of two goals for the Lille match, might hold off if I cannot find it as I would feel better with that line. Liverpool-Tottenham is a no play to me. Tottenham has been pitching shutouts right & left, but Liverpool scores well at home. Under would be a slight lean, but the over could just as easily happen I think.

The public's going to pound Liverpool at such a good price. Which is why you should take the superior Spurs squad +1/2 with a little money to win the game as well. I think they pull out a victory over the disappointing Liverpool squad that's shown up this season

Well I am a bit surprised that BetPhoenix isn't offering a flat line of 2 for the Lille match since I have seen 2s at some others where I don't have any money. Oh well, F it. It's at +105 now for the 2/2.5 line. With the way 2010 is off to for me, this may wind up being a scoreless draw - but I just think Lille is too powerful not to at least get two goals by themselves and hey losing half stakes will seem like a win.

Tottenham has a realistic chance to beat Liverpool at the Anfield this time. Last time that happened was 1993.
Torres is absent so scoring goals will be Kuyt's job, but he will probably not get much support from the middle field with Gerrard and Benayoun missing - and who knows what is Babel's situation (though Benitez will probably let him play). It looks like Liverpool will not have much creativity in the middle field. There is of course an option to give Maxi Rodriguez his first start, but he will probably need few matches to settle down.

Liverpool's defence might also be bit shaky. With Glen Johnson and probably also Daniel Agger missing Jamie Carragher will most likely play again in wrong position as right back and Kyrgiakos and Skrtel at the central defence.

Winning Liverpool at the Anfield is always a tough job to do, but yes, there is a chance.
