Play #226: [France Ligue 1] Nancy vs. Lille OVER 2/2.5 (-105)
Lille has been in dynamic scoring form with 18 goals in their last 5 overall matches. In 6 of the last 7 overall, they have scored 3 goals or better. Nancy has been credible in their own right with 8 goals in their last 4 with multiple goal games three times in that stretch. They have yielded multiple goals at home in 3 of their last 5, while Lille has netted multiple goals in 4 of their last 5 away from home in Ligue 1. They have conceded at least one goal in 6 of 8 on the road this season in league play. 7 of their 8 road matches have hit for at least 2 goals. With Lille punishing opposing defenses of late, I look for them to continue scoring in waves. They are fully capable of getting all 3 needed to win this by themselves and I think with their road defense softer than their home form, Nancy has an excellent shot to help out with a goal or more of their own. With two hot teams coming in, this either turns into a dazzling display with some goals or turns out to be a snooze fest - I choose goals.

With you on that one, and I also like the over 2/2.5 with Lorient/Valenciennes and Lyon/Montpellier.

      Good luck!

Play #227: [England Premier] Hull City vs. Manchester United OVER 2.5 (-120)
Many questions abound here as Manchester United head into this one with a chance to shore up their deficit to Chelsea at the top of the table, but with plenty of injury issues along their backline. Couple that with Hull City's giving defense and I think there is potential for a recipe for several goals. Hull has not been in good form of late, scoreless in their last 3 overall. At home however, they have been adequate at scoring more often than not with multiple goals in 4 of their last 6. They have conceded goals in 6 of 9 at home and 12 in their last 6. United head into this contest with two scoreless efforts in their last three, not surprisingly both which ended as losses. The good news is their defense has leaked goals in 6 of 9 away from home. United has also scored multiple goals in 5 of 9 on the road. They should head into this one knowing that even if Hull isn't a goal scoring machine, they are capable of taking advantage of a depleted United defense and that should hopefully mean plenty of attacking by Manchester United to keep pace offensively. If Hull gets on the scoresheet, I expect that will help open this match up and give the OVER a solid shot.

Play #228: [England Premier] Tottenham vs. West Ham United OVER 2.5 (-130)
Be a little catious with these Monday-Tuesday EPL matches with such quick turnarounds as that can really throw some kinks into the works. Do like this one potentially though, especially with West Ham possibly without anywhere from 5-7 of their usual starting 11 according to various reports. Even if they do have more regulars available, West Ham has not travelled well this season. In 5 of their last 6 away from home, they have given up multiple goals. The good news is they have tallied at least one goal in that same span. Tottenham has run hot & cold at home this season as far as goals with multiple goals in 4 of their last 6 on home soil, but blanked in the other two. 6 of 9 at home have hit at least 3 goals for the Spurs as far as match totals. They have also yielded a goal in 6 of 9 at home. The Spurs do have two clean sheets in a row, but West Ham has scored in three straight and have scored & conceded goals in 5 of 6 on the road. Tottenham likely should wear down a battered West Ham side and appear cable of netting multiple goals. The Spurs also have a shot to catapult past Aston Villa in the table into 4th place and that may have them pressing hard for a decisive win against what may be a depleted side. If West Ham can get on the score sheet, this one seems pretty likely - even so, Tottenham is capable of getting 3 if need be.

Short on that one. 2-0 final. Figured it was either going to be 2-0 or 3-0. Due for a loss.

Nah, I do EPL, Italy Serie A, Spain La Liga, Austria Bundesliga, Champions League, etc. Pretty much anything that has an advantage to a play, I will do if I am able to find it. Only ones I really don't cap much are Germany and very rarely do France matches.

Taking the more conservative approach on the total rather than the straight total of 2.5, but this price seems pretty nice to me. Liverpool have exactly two matches out of 19 in the England Premier League this season that have failed to hit at least two goals. One came to Blackburn during Liverpool's injury stretch without Torrest & Gerrard, the other a 1-0 loss at Sunderland. On the road, Liverpool has had some issues with consistency as they have been blanked in 4 of their last 6 away from home. The good news is they have just two clean sheets in 9 road matches, conceding multiple goals in 6 of 9. Aston Villa will be without Ashley Young in this one. Liverpool's main loss will be defensive midfielder Mascherano. Villa's 3-0 shutout defeat to Arsenal ended a run of 10 straight matches in all competitions where they had scored at least once. At home in the EPL this season, Villa has tallied at least one goal in eight straight after their stunning home opening loss to Wigan. 5 of their last 7 on their home pitch have seen them score multiple times. They have conceded a goal in 5 of 9, but do come in with two straight clean sheets at Villa Park. Arsenal's three goal performance broke a string of four straight clean sheets for Villa, but prior to that stretch, Villa had scored & conceded a goal in 9 straight, so perhaps Arsenal cracked the seal on the Villa defense. With all of that, Villa has still reached two goal totals in 16 of 19 in the EPL this season. This one should be interesting as Villa looks to shake off the brilliance of Cesc Fabregas & Arsenal last time out, knowing that perhaps Fernando Torres could fill a similar 2nd half substitute role like Fabregas did for Arsenal if he isn't named to the starting 11. Seems unlikely with the quick turnaround in matches from the weekend. A huge match for both clubs as Villa has fallen out of the Top 4, but could leap back into that mix over Tottenham with a win today. Liverpool simply needs momentum from beating Wolverhampton 2-0 as they sit in 8th place, needing wins not draws to make up a 7 point gap to 4th place Tottenham. I like both sides to score here as they push for a win which should at worst result in just a half stakes loss with the 2/2.5 total - but I do believe one of these sides can net multiple goals and get this done for a full stakes win.
