#1554Been being careful during the week with the lack of matches. Hate pushing it with some of these lesser leagues and things like the Africa Cup where there's no rhyme or reason to it. Weekends will be best hopefully with the big boys back.Comment -

#1557Play #236: [England Premier] PARLAY: Manchester United & Tottenham (2 units to win 1)
Sometimes boys you have to go for the easier options and that is what I choose here. At home, United has been stout with an 8-1-1 record this season. They are yielding less than one goal per home match, while averaging 2.4 per home contest. Four of their last five at home have resulted in shutouts of the opposition with United hitting for 13 goals in those matches. Burnley meanwhile has been hapless on the road with an 0-9-1 record. They have allowed over 3 goals per road match, while hitting for less than a goal per road match. Burnley has been shut out in three straight road matches (6 of 10 overall) and have conceded multiple goals in each of their 10 away tilts. Burnley will be missing captain Steven Caldwell due to injury. At Old Trafford, United should bounce back into the win column with a solid win. Hull has conceded multiple goals in 8 of 10 on the road this season, while the Spurs have banged home multiple goals in 7 of 10 at home. With Tottenham now pressing for a spot in the top four and their defense playing rock solid, they too should provide a steady performance and a home win on Saturday. Standing alone, United and Tottenham offer little value with such high chalk. However, parlaying them together one could feasibly add a little extra scratch to their bankroll this weekend will relatively little risk.
There is a bigger write-up on my blog for anyone who wants more information. Link is in my signature.

F-ing Spurs can't get one goal. Sounded like they had plenty of opps, just sucked at finishing. Might be in extra time, but they're not gonna get one.

#1567Play #237: [England Premier] Bolton vs. Arsenal OVER 2.5 (-127)
Going to set this one on Saturday night as I can't imagine people will be doing anything than going for the OVER here. At home this season, Bolton has been the most giving squad in the EPL - allowing over 2 goals per contest. They have allowed multiple goals in 7 of 10 contests at home. The good news is their offense has been solid at home to try and offset the flimsy defense as Bolton has scored 16 goals at home. They have 6 multiple goal performances on offense at home and have hit for 8 goals in their last 3 on their home turf. Arsenal remain a stellar scoring outfit, averaging over 2 goals per road match. They also allow 1.4 goals on the road per contest. Arsenal has scored and conceded in 8 of 10 on the road. Arsenal started 2010 by drawing with Everton at home (2-2) while one a Carling Cup contest 4-0, but will be making their 1st Premier League appearance this year. Owen Coyle debuts as manager here for Bolton and these two teams will meet again on Wednesday. With Chelsea & Manchester United both winning Saturday, Arsenal needs a win to keep pace. Expecting goals from both sides and likely Arsenal to net multiples and get this done.
