Man I am so hungover season ticket SKC fan and we won the cup at home last night got to take a sip of beer out of the cup in the members section. Party lasted till 5 am in the Members section with a majority of the regulars from the team with us there. Just took Atletico DRAW bcs I knew Porto wasn't going to win the game and hoped for something like a last minutes draw (dramatically not making the next round). Eto'o is decent enough, Torres is a good striker who's admittedly been playing below par but has shown good signs of improvement, Mata, Oscar and Hazard are all exceptional players.
Not everyone could or should be at the level of a Ronaldo or Messi.

Messi Ronaldo? Yes, below par for a long time.
How much someone is paid should have no real correlation with how good they are or are not.
Value to performance, yes, but real time ability, no.
Torres is a very good striker. He may not be as good or in as good form as the other players you mention, but he's still a good player.
He'd still have a long line of top clubs wanting him if he was made available.
You aren't first choice for Chelsea and play regularly for Spain if you're not a good player.Comment
