Earlier this month, I was laid off by SBR, and was asked to finish out the month in a limited role, which I did as professionally as possible.
I'm not going to go into the details here. I will however say that the situation was handled in a disappointing manner that has soured my relationship with SBR to the point that I will not continue to post here.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the three years I have spent here, both as a moderator and a poster. While a select few of you decided to be jerks to me for no apparent reason, the large majority of you were extremely respectful and supportive of my write-ups and videos. For that I thank you.
It was great getting to meet some of you face to face at the bash. Even those of you that weren't there, I have come to consider some of you friends. Hopefully those of you know who you are, and hopefully the feeling was at least somewhat mutual.
SBR will go on just fine without me; I'm sure I'll be completely forgotten in a week or two. But I won't forget you guys; it was a lot of fun.
It's a shame it had to end this way. I'd have never taken the job if I'd have known it would eventually mean leaving SBR for good. But that's the real world sometimes, things don't always go according to plan.
May you all have a profitable football season and beyond, and a wonderful holiday season.
Goodbye, and good luck.
