Marx's vision was for a classless society, which he would bring about by retraining humans to stop being greedy. He did say from each according to his ability, to each according to his need. He wasn't smart enough to know that wouldn't happen.

I'm not being ruled by the rich and corporations. I don't want to be ruled by anyone, but the unions are doing a lot of ruling.

Who in power is proposing we eliminate all of that in short order? A lot of those things are in existence because of government failures, and then the politicians make the failure bigger.
